Staples the Office Superstore

Horrible customer service. Left me hanging on the phone for 20 minutes. Got to the store and the man apologized, sigh. I tried to find help to locate an item to and all employees ran like mice hiding.
The store need to better station employees throughout the store, so we could get the service that we needed. It took me 20 minutes to find a cover for my Kindle
The employees are like, «Catch me if you can…»

Had to argue with the clerk for 10 minutes that an item the was 25% off didn’t ring up right. Purchased a backpack that was tagged $ 45.99 with «Retail Price» lettered directly over the price. I questioned the price. The clerk said «Oh that is the right price, the computer rang it up right. I ask for a manager. After 10 minutes, manager said that we were correct. I wonder how many people didn’t get a discount on items at the store. Didn’t even get a «sorry for your wait»

Ok, I have been shopping at Staples for many years before the came to Lexington; since the 1980s. So, know that I like the business.
With that disclosure, I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with this location.
I, instead, recommend the location in North Park, next to the Wal-​Mart.
This location seems to be more interested in each other than the customer. Since they rearrange the displays often, it would seem to me they would be aware of customers looking lost as they search for the items they need, in the location they were yesterday.
I give them 3 stars because the products are pretty good if they have them in stock and you can find them. It would be 5 stars if customer service existed.
As an additional insult to me, a regular customer, as I was approaching a register the clerk put up the closed register and walked away with a smug smile on her face. She didn’t say a thing, just walked away.
Because of this and other experiences like it, I give them a zero for customer service.

Literally the best office supply store you will ever go to. EVER.
