Can be rather overwhelming when you first walk in but the staff is really helpful at explaining the menu. I ordered the Mediterranean Beef pita and pita chips. It was so delicious. Both the beef and the pita we’re thin so the flavors didn’t overwhelm your mouth. I ordered they’re pita chips as a side and if I wasn’t so stuffed from the pita I would’ve ate the whole thing. They’re perfectly season and would make the perfect snack. If I could order a large bag of the pita chips I would. The food takes a little while to prepare but it’s definitely worth the wait.

Great little place. We loved the homemade pitas and hummus, but maybe not as much as our 1 year old did. She went absolutely crazy for it. The falafel was very good and the chicken shawarma was amazing! Very clean restaurant as well. We were impressed all around.

I’m from out of state, but I’m so glad that I found this place. I actually stopped by to eat at cheddars since I’m familiar with it, but I wanted to try something different. I got the chicken pita and it was delicious! Everything was presented in a clean and upscale fashion, even the wrapper looks really nice! Nonetheless, I picked up a beef pita for the road home. This place is highly recommended, and I would likely visit again whenever I’m in town!

This restaurant is alright, but nothing particularly special. The atmosphere is basically that of a fast food place, but it is clean and reasonably comfortable. The staff member I interacted with was friendly and gave my 2 year-old french fries for free, which was nice. I’m usually not a big of fan of fries, but I did really like the two my son shared with me! The pitas are served with a LOT of dressing, sauce, etc. so I would advise asking for it on the side if you don’t want all of the fillings saturated with the dressing. Prices are alright(around $ 6.50 for most pitas with no side items), but I don’t think they’re as good as some of their fast-casual competition that is priced similarly.

Would have given a higher rating though my last visit to the Pita Social in the Fayette Mall food court, I had to wait for about 5 extra minutes for my order(sitting under the warmer) while the employee was chit-chatting to someone. The employee was the only one at the count, was totally understaffed for a busy Saturday afternoon mall crowd. THe employee even said she was a little overwhelmed at first with the mall crowd. The pitas(especially the Spicy Mediterranean Beef Pita) & falafel are good!!! Definitely good food & something different for the palate.

They’ve opened in the food court at Fayette mall and since I had to meet someone at the mall for a meal(they work in a store there and only have a short break), we decided to give it a try. I’m glad we did. The falafel is really good. It’s very crispy but the center is steamy and moist. You get a lot of them for the money, too. The sauce isn’t great, sadly. I had a bit of my friend’s pita sandwich(which was huge) and it was pretty tasty. Their pitas are nicely rolled up in wax paper so they stay nicely soft but they’re not particularly flavorful. They have several flavors of hummus(no other spot around here does) and the two I tried(regular and herb) were both good. We went back a second time for carry-out and I have to comment on the containers. They have the highest quality bags and boxes I’ve ever gotten at a restaurant. Like, freakishly so. I felt a little bad throwing the bag away. Someone went to a lot of trouble designing their look and their packaging, that is for sure. If you want falafel and you’re willing to bring your own sauce to the party, you’ll love it.(Did I mention Sahara sells their garlic sauce by the quart?)

Had falafel and hummus… not impressed. Might be back to try something else sometime, but not the falafel. If you want really good falafel, go to Zainna’s.

Awesome pitas! The falafel was flavorful and the tzatziki was cool and fresh. They made my pita to order(add this, hold that) with a smile and had me on my way. I’ll be back for sure!

This is our new favorite fast, affordable spot in town. We are addicted. Really fresh, tasty Mediterranean at a really nice price. Great, customizable wraps staring at $ 5 and free French fries everyday during lunch until 2PM! The crown jewel is their falafel. Without a doubt the best I’ve had since a college trip to Egypt. Perfectly crisp on outside and moist on the inside! Great homemade sauces as well: tahini, tatziki and three flavors of hummus! Be sure to check out the super cool fresh squeezed orange juice machine! Love love love

Great food. Had the healthy egg white breakfast pita for lunch and it was very filling. My three year old had the kids chicken pita and it comes with a drink a side(too much for her to eat and so I got to enjoy some of it) all for $ 3.99. I rated it four instead of five due to the long wait to get our food when the restaurant wasn’t that busy. I expected fast casual speed at a counter service but it was slower.

I really liked the idea of this place! I think it needs a little more work on their menu and working the kinks out but I think this place will really take off!

I tried their chicken pita, the beef with pickles pita and their Fafafel pita. I tried this while at the THursday Night live downtown. I liked the chicken with the sauce wrapped in tortillas, I also liked the Fafafel pita which has chick peas, herb and garlic sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and ground beef. It just melts in your mouth with flavors that exploed. This is a new business just opening up out at Brighton Place of Man o war and versallis rd. They are opening up a new restaurant in the Fayette Mall soon and they also have a food truck. Everything used is locally grown. They also offer salads, and they have a orange machine that you make your own orange by putting oranges yourself into the machine. The Owner Tim Zombek was there to greet customers. He also owns the Shakespares Restaurant in Lexington.

Super yummy and fresh! I ordered the spicy Mediterranean beef pita and the sauce and peppers made it so delicious. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you quickly. I will be coming back for sure. I think next time I will try the falafel and maybe some hummus.

I stopped in for a to go order today. It was a little early for dinner so I was the only one there. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and answered all my questions about the menu. I got the Mediterranean Spicy Beef pita. It had nice flavor, but was a little too spicy, but by adding some of the tahini, that cut down on the spice. The best part of the meal was the falafel side that I ordered dipped in the herb hummus. The falafels were very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and full of flavor. The hummus had a great consistency and tasted great. The pita bread that came with the hummus was good, but a little too chewy but that’s the only real complaint I have. Worth a try just for the falafels alone.

Tried falafel for the first time ever. It was delicious. Can’t wait to try more options. Hopefully they get take out menus soon. The styling of the restaurant is also really nice. I love the colors. Will be back for more!

I went to Pita Social for lunch. I ordered the Spicy Mediterranean Beef Pita, it was amazing. Reminded me of a wrap I used to get in college. It was perfectly spicy with great flavor. The steak in the pita was cooked well and very tender. I tried their french fries and was super impressed, they are some of the best fries I’ve had from a restuarant in a long time. The service was exceptional and they answered all of my questions in detail about ingredients and menu items. The menu is slightly confusing because items are just listed by name. Simply having the ingredients of each menu item listed out would make it easier. I’ll be returning to Pita Social and recommending it to coworkers!

This place has a lot if potential. My chicken pita was good and I asked for a lot of substitutions and omissions so it could partially be me. I was underwhelmed with my pita. It was good, but not exactly what I was looking for or expecting. Each bite tasted exactly as the last bite and I was expecting something more. The service was great and friendly and surprisingly quick. I would like to see them add some local flavor and make things a little easier to order in the future.

It’s a welcomed addition to the Hamburg area but it’s not going to knock your socks off. So far I’ve tried three different menu items a with the same underwhelming results. The breakfast wraps have been the best thing I’ve tried so far.
