Owner is shady & dishonest. Stopped in early summer & my wife was interested in a sign for sale for $ 350 or $ 400(can’t remember the exact amount) We held off on purchasing it due to the price. A few months later we decided that we’d go get it for our cottage in town. We went back & inquired about it on a busy weekend in town & the owner said that sign was a one of a kind & he paid $ 1000 for it & if we wanted it, it would be $ 1000. We obviously walked out. Just a couple weeks ago we had some friends go in & ask about it & they were told it’s a one of a kind & it costs $ 3000!!! The sign is a $ 300 item at best. The owner is clearly trying to prey on tourists. We do not need people like that in a town like Lexington. Horrible business practices & I would avoid that shop at all costs.

Oh Fudge is just like every tourist shop in every tourist town in the nation, but they have some cute items, plenty of «Lexington wear» and the kids can’t get enough of the fudge they sell there(honestly, I’ve never even tasted it, but they LOVE it and we can’t get away from stopping in for some — including the little samples they keep on the counter!) My favorite though, is their sister store just around the corner, Crazy Joe’s. Again, mostly touristy stuff, but all with a surf/beach-type theme. One of my favorite finds were the SKIMBOARDS. I had not seen them before, but what a hit! The kids(and adults, trust me) LOVED em. I think they are about $ 15 each and come in several sizes. If you find a wavy day on Lake Huron, you can ride the waves as they hit the beach. Hours of fun. The kids also love(and always beg for, but I have yet to give in!) the sand crabs Crazy Joe sells, with a variety of painted shells. Crazy Joe’s is a good stop, especially for kids ~8 — 14 yrs, while walking thru town.
