This hotel is not good.
The Wifi is horrendous. Slow, bad connectivity. For 2015, it really is unacceptable. If you have work to do when you come, you wont be able to.
It’s dirty. Not Clock Motel in Dearborn Heights dirty, but we wore flip flops in the shower.
I don’t think you should consider staying at this dump shack. Please don’t.

This place might be ok if you like to golf, but I don’t and so I can’t give a review of it. As far as the hotel goes, there is no elevator which is an inconvenience for the handicap and people with little kids. Housekeeping came to clean and we needed another 30 minutes. She then said she would not come back to clean once we left. We were gone all day and came back to a messy room and no coffee or soap replacements. It is by no means a resort. There is not even a pool for the kids. If you need a mattress and water then I’d recommend this place. Otherwise I’d search around.

I had my wedding reception here. We are still receiving compliments on how well the food was prepared. I only wish that the liquor prices had been more affordable, and that the staff had been nicer. The staff was rude to my wedding party and myself. We also stayed at the hotel, which was great. We had a suite with the jacuzzi and it was very nice and roomy with a view of the golf course. The downfall was that you had to book the room for two nights instead of one just to reserve it. I have been bowling here for fundraisers. The bowling alley is nice, but nothing special. They have a health club downstairs that is decently sized. The hours are the downfall, only stayed open until around 8pm. They offer a beautiful bar (over priced) and restaurant area along with holiday meals such as thanksgiving and Mother’s Day. These meals have always been about average compared to our wedding meal. That is what first discouraged me from trusting the wedding food, but I am glad I did. My maid of honor had called to book a room and the receptionist was very rude and even hung up on her. With the good comes the bad. It is a nice, clean spot in town. They just need to learn how to smile and be friendly.

We play this place a few times each summer. Pretty good course– one of two in the Lexington area. They have a North and a South Course. South is older, shorter, and a little easier. North is newer, longer, and more difficult. North is also more subject to water issues after any rain. I would avoid it altogether after moderate or heavy rains within a day or two of planned play.
My one issue with this place is that the snake bar at the turn is very poorly organized. They have to go upstairs every time they need something. Played there yesterday and they had a fresh pizza that they would not serve because the cook did not cut it into enough pieces. The girl said she had to wait until someone came back downstairs to cut it before she was allowed to serve it. So we got hotdogs instead and they were cold in the middle with stale buns. Wifey threw hers out.
Listen up Lakeview! I’ll bet you are leaving lot’s of money on the table (or in people’s pockets) when it comes to your snake bar!

nice place to play, 36 holes. we played the north side which i liked. 2 different 9’s 1 was open and the other was somewhat tree lined. greens were in good shape with some undulation but not all that difficult. it got a little windy in the afternoon but it was fine. although i must say that the snack bar girl was very cute (easy on the eyes ;))))
