KentuckyOne Health – Continuing Care Hospital Saint Joseph East

So this hospital is a joke. My wife was 15 weeks pregnant and was having really bad stomach pains almost to the point of crying and not being able to move. So being right up the street from my house I rushed her here to the Er. We pull up and I run inside and grab a wheelchair and Rush buck and grab her and come back in. There were only 3 – 4 people in the lobby and you could tell the reason they were there. PAIN PILLS… Every one of them where sitting in the lobby laughing and playing on there phones but as soon as the triage nurse called one of them they hunkered over in pain and acted like they where dying. Anyways my wife finally gets checked in after waiting 10 – 15 min. The nurse checks her vitals and asks whey she is there and she tells them about being pregnant and the pain (she has had one miscarriage and is considered to be high risk now) and how it hurts to the point she has been crying. So the lady writes everything in the computer and instructs my wife that they will call her back in a few. So we go back to the lobby and sit there for 45 min while the pill heads go back in front of her and leave with there bounty of drugs like they are kings of the world while my pregnant wife sits in the lobby crying her eyes out. Finally we get taking back and it takes another 25 min for the dr to walk in and say 3 words and leave. We don’t see anybody for another 15 min. Finally I get sick of it and go to the nurse station and a little older guy is sitting there. He is a dr and was just coming on. He came to our room and got stuff done! He done a ultrasound, felt the spots in her belly and done his exam all within 20 min and found out what was wrong. He said she should have been seen as soon as we got there instead of 2 ½ hours later. But my wife and baby are both ok now!!! But I would stay away from here and go to UK or something!
