Hendricks Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

I’m sorry that I have to be the first to review this practice with a rather negative experience, but unfortunately that’s the breaks.
This practice has been my dental provider for the last few years, but as of this year, I have decided that I’m going to change for a few reasons.
First, you’ll notice that I don’t mention «Dr. Hendricks» or say «he has been my dentist» because I have only seen the man face-​to-​face once for about 15 seconds and I’ve been to the office four times for cleanings and routine procedures. I was coming from a GREAT dentist that I had for years in Chicago and he certainly was a tough act to follow. The problem is with Dr. Hendricks, I can’t even tell if he is adequate because he has never actually spoken to me. While I realize I haven’t had any procedures done that actually required his hands, I always got a face-​to-​face for at least a few minutes each time I was in with my old dentist, and it was nice that he remembered me and knew about my work and family. This is just a total 180 from that experience.
Secondly, while the hygienists I have dealt with have been generally pleasant, I always get a little bit of a bad vibe from the front desk staff. It’s one of those things you can’t quite put your finger on, but it’s just always an uncomfortable experience to deal with them.
Finally, and this is truly the most frustrating for me, they are apparently MUCH too solidly booked all the time to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time, especially if you don’t pre-​book your next appointment while you’re there or if you need to reschedule. I had to wait 3 extra MONTHS once because of a reschedule. I’m glad that business is good, but either they need to work harder to fit people in or leave a little fluff in the book for changes. Three months out is totally nuts.
