This is a great place to pick up good used books. The prices are very reasonable, and all of the proceeds from the sales go towards supporting the public library. Like any used book store, you never know what you will find. Most of the books are obtained through donations, and some are from discarded library books. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have asked them to be on the lookout for a couple of authors or books. Some they have found, while some have been shelved by other staff. All in all, they do a great job. They are very friendly. There are a massive amount of 50 cent paperback novels. It’s located in the basement of the Main Street Public Library.

Ok, so the selection is limited(but when isn’t it at a used bookstore), but otherwise, this place is an awesome find for a bibliophile. Books all for under $ 2 each! I browsed their novels and classics section and found a number of things I wanted, but faced with lugging them around town, had to my limit myself to a good condition Joyce Carol Oates novel for the great price of $ 1.06. They have plenty of non-fiction and children’s books as well, and some magazines. There’s also an odd selection of trinkets and such for sale near the register, with the requisite horse figurines, but clearly, what people come here for is the amazing deals on reading material. Definitely worth checking out, and thanks to the guy in the bar across the street for the suggestion.
