This hotel has a weird design… The main hotel in on a hilltop, the office is on the bottom, in a same building with a restaurant attached. Once you check in here, you drive up and go to your room. The rooms were simple, we had double bed, it had 32 inch TV, microwave, a cooler and a coffee machine… all essentials of a hotel room. The bathroom was small… you need to slide next to the toilet in order to close the door… poor design. The beds were soft and I do mean SOFT… if you want some cold cereal, donuts, hot black water(coffee), orange juice, the breakfast areas is on the 2nd floor of the hotel… frankly speaking now worth it. Parking here got packed within the 4 hours we were gone… lot of F150 type of trucks parked every where. For the price we paid, can’t complain, but would never pay $ 140 a night to stay here.

If you call the number listed on the front you get a switchboard in Guam or see here. Worry not, just tell them you want the Days Inn Lexington, VA and insist on a lower quoted rate, it saved me 10.00h. There is a lot of renovation going on, I mean tear out to bare wall, right now(June 2015) so I expect it be much nicer soon. What I mean is this, the place is dated and shows the wear, although everything works and it is reasonably clean and odors are good for a smoking motel it is still dated and there is no excuse for badly water stained cushions on the two upholstered chairs. But a comfortable bed, cool room, hot shower with decent wifi, fridge, tv and polite staff for 58.50 plus tax is not so bad at all. So if you are traveling and just need a place to crash, sleep, shower and run then this will fit the bill. I’d you want a romantic or memory making experience then spend the extra money for a resort or suite..

We clipped a coupon from a visitor center pamphlet and got a great room, clean, well-maintained, and everything worked. The bathroom was spotless and the water was hot. And there were plenty of full-size towels. Also, just through a door down the hall was a good-size heated pool and on a 20-degree night it was quite welcome. And they had a small workout room an extra gym towels for guests. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. But the best part was the Indian man at the desk. He was extremely courteous and helpful. I recommend this hotel highly.

Stopped by here on a road trip from Austin to Philadelphia. Everything was clean and in good condition. There’s even a little playground for kids.

Got a good price for room with king size bed. Clean comfy bed with lots of pillows. Room had fridge & microwave. The floor, tub and other spots were pretty dusty and not terribly clean otherwise. Mexican restaurant does not serve breakfast. Quiet side of Lexington.

Okay, so we were stranded over night because our car broke down. The mechanic said that he would take us to the nearest motel, and it ended up being this one. It’s AAA approved, so if you’re a member you get a discount. The woman at the front desk was not only very helpful with letting us know our dining options, but she was also very friendly. Something much needed after dealing with a broken car all day. After we got our keys, we headed up a large staircase up to the actual hotel. I definitely got a Bate’s Motel kind of a feeling from the place. Maybe because I’ve seen a lot of movies, including Deliverance, I was a little freaked out. Surprisingly, this Days Inn ended up being really clean, and fairly nice. Because we had no car, and the closest store was 3 miles away, we just ordered from one of the restaurants the lady at the front desk referred to us. So lucky that they delivered. Not scary, really clean, and a nice place to be after a long day. Glad they dropped us off here.
