Charmed Life Tattoo

This is literally the only place I’d consider getting tattooed. These folks are true artists. No matter what tattoo you’re considering getting, get it done here.

I get most of my tattoos from Scott Updike. He is not just a tattoo artist, but he is an actual artist. I have commissioned him to do a painting for my husband for christmas. He has this beautiful old skool style and amazing use of colors.
Robert is also amazing. He remembers tattoos he worked on decades ago. Seriously, he remembers doing one of my husband’s first tattoos that he got in the early 2000’s. Oh and he does really good work. Check out their portfolios!
As for the shop, I know they use clean packaged needles (you can watch them open the package). While they do have flash you can pick and stick, they mostly do custom work. It’s in a cool section of town and the exposed brick on the inside is beautiful. My problem is all the scary taxidermy animals in bathroom. They tend to scare the pee out me me. Way to be creepy, guys.
I love the artists here. Always check out the site and the work of any artist you decide to go to. Make sure you are comfortable with them.

Awesome guys, decent shop. They were super accommodating with getting my sister and in for same day appointments. We both saw Robert who was quick and meticulous! Definitely will be coming back the next time I’m in town!
