Bluegrass Distillers

Charming distillery with incredibly warm and knowledgeable proprietors. Having spent a few days in the area before ending up here, our group had sampled a variety of local bourbons — none of which came close to the amazing flavor this group has achieved.
They happily accommodated our last minute request for a tour, and treated us to tastings. The artwork around the distillery is from a local charcoal artist and the ingredients for the product are locally sourced. They also partner with a local university to bring in a chemical engineering intern to work on flavor profiles. If you’re looking for an authentic Kentucky bourbon experience, look no further!

This single batch distillery has the best Bourbon I’ve tasted, a welcoming staff & owners, and gave us a nice tour. With a beautiful still that the owner went to Portugal to have made by hand, they make each batch of delicious Bourbon, Whiskey, and some really cool blue corn moonshine they call Blue Dog. #notacrossingguard

Amazing craft bourbon distillery in the heart of downtown Lexington, KY. The tour is the most in depth hands on experience you could ever imagine. Free tastings are incredible. The bourbon these guys are making is spectacular. Great bourbon and even better people. Do yourself a favor and check them out and pick up a bottle!
