The staff at Bike Green is super friendly and very knowledgeable. They carry one of my favorite brands of bikes – Kona. They have helped me to maintain my own university bike shop with their extensive knowledge and service. While they are in a more suburban location, they are a bright spot on the south side of Lexington. Since their arrival, it has become hard to imagine doing my bike shopping anywhere else.

Cozy and clean store. Well-kept. Not a huge selection, but not a huge store either. I think it’s reasonable in this case to be willing to sacrifice selection for a much more intimate and personal experience. Troy was more than willing to answer any and all questions we had, and was extremely knowledgeable. I’m not in the practice of biking and I have a very short inseam and Troy asked what I was looking for and gave me all my options– even let me go for a test-drive!
Even if this shop didn’t have what I was looking for, I would still consider coming back just for routine maintenance and just chat for a bit.
