My husband and I both go to Bella Riley ’ s, Lauren is our stylist. She’s wonderful and talented. Love the look of the Solon.

I had a great experience at Bella Riley’s. Bonnie was really helpful had sweet, and she didn’t even scold me for giving myself a haircut, that’s top notch service in my book! It has definitely become my Lexington salon. The atmosphere is very cool, hip without trying. I can’t wait to go back soon for other services, so more to come!

Stephanie is outstanding! Best head massage and shampoo I’ve ever had! Also nice facility in the Old Mill, easy parking. Stephanie is super sweet and takes her time to do things the right way. Great cut and fabulous color! She had to do my color 3 times to get my bleached hair to take the color and only charged me once! The other ladies that work there are really nice and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!

My cosmetologist retired after 25 years. I went to a generic salon a couple of times and was so traumatized that I did not cut my hair for a year and a half. When it got so unmanageable, I finally went to another place and she cut 14 inches off and cut my hair in a style that I would never had considered. She also missed color in several areas. Looked on Unilocal and saw this salon had good reviews. Made an appointment with Bonnie. She listened to me and corrected the color mistakes the last person made. She cut my hair in the style that I was used to and is easy for me to fix. I feel like I have finally found a replacement after almost 3 years. I would recommend to anyone.

I went for my first appointment yesterday and everything was great. My stylist, Mary, discussed my hair, what I liked about my style and what wasn’t working. She did a very good job with the cut. All the staff made me feel very welcome and didn’t have any problems with my medical service dog, which is very comforting. I’ve already scheduled a return appointment for another haircut and color in 5 weeks.

My son had given me a gift certificate for several massages for my birthday and I had not gotten around to using them until this week. I used one of them and Rachael, the owner, was wonderful. It was very relaxing and the salon was very welcomng as was the staff. My son had his hair cut and styled by Stephanie while I had my session, and was very pleased with his experience too.
We would recommend this to anyone that would like a «Spa» experience in Lexington or Columbia.

Finally got around to getting serious about finding a quality stylist after living in the Columbia area for 2+ years. Narrowed the search to Bella Riley and Cho On Main since I am in near the downtown Lexington area twice a week for my commute. Both looked great online but I chose Bella Riley for two reasons: 1) I love the Old Mill complex; and 2) Cho’s website did not publish any prices for their services. When I called for the info, I could not get a firm answer. Everything was, ‘well, it depends on your hair and the stylist and the services’ etc. etc. Bella Riley’s prices are clearly posted on their site. A small thing, but I liked knowing exactly how much I was going to be charged before I went in.
I have been growing my hair out for months but just couldn’t take it anymore and wanted to go back to a short style. My hair is fine and straight as a board. Stylist Stephanie took an extraordinary amount of time and care considering she didn’t have much to work with. What a pleasant surprise to get a style I asked for, rather than the usual middle-​aged woman cliché hair that I often get at other salons, regardless of how many pictures I show them. I am thrilled with the result and will be back soon for some highlights in my ongoing battle against the gray.

Aly is amazing. My mother is happy with her hair after visiting most every salon in town. Now I see Aly too and we recommend her to everyone. She loves her work and her clients and it shows.
