My son has very severe nut allergies. Anaphylaxic to all nuts. Per FARE website strict avoidance is key to having no reactions. This Dr. Told me that my son would be fine to bring him into the office to stick his hand in tree nuts because he would be fine to use the epipen. Such a joke of a Dr. This is never okay and if you have an allergy you should always avoid that food or environmental allergen. We switched doctors that day but at that point it was too late. The damage had been done when the Dr told my son’s school that it would be safe for him to be around nuts and touch them.
