All Tune and Lube of Lexington

This place is a complete rip off. There is no accountability no customer service and the business might as well be in a back alley it’s so dirty. I paid hundreds of dollars to have a water pump and timing belt replaced only to have the car return to me filthy with oil thumbprint all over the paint and a car that has a high pitch squeal because the idiot that was working on my car tightened the timing belt too tight. I made several attempts to get them to fix the problem they refused. They blamed it on the parts they blamed it on a previous problem which is obviously wasn’t because it didn’t do it before I brought it in and I take care of my vehicles so I would know. Beware, these people are scammers. They will not stand behind their work.

We depend on our vehicle for business so we were looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic. ATL was fine long as we were just needing oil changes and basic maintenance. When we got a used truck we needed a few things. We told the mechanic that the truck sputtered, backfired and lost acceleration. Gas mileage was poor for a 4 cylander. We needed a new a/​c condenser. And the front end shook and rattled on bumpy roads, so badly you could feel it in the steering wheel. We got a tune up and the a/​c work done, and we asked them to look at the front end suspension and let us know what was wrong.
The a/​c work was done just fine. The tune up helped a little, but not enough. They told us there was absolutely nothing wrong wrong with the front end. Over the next year and a half we brought the truck to them regularly for maintenance, and we paid quite a bit. We had trouble getting our vehicle back at the promised times, making us have to reschedule work. Each time we complained about the fuel system problems and the front end, which was getting worse. They gave us a fuel system cleaning which helped some for awhile, but it was quickly bad again. They could never find anything wrong with the front end. In fact, the mechanic started poking fun at us over it.
Eventually we needed tires. We explained our needs, and paid a premium for our new tires. They wore out far too quickly and weren’t even the light truck tires we requested. Since ATL hadn’t solved our other issues we went elsewhere. We went to the Tire Kingdom on Harbison planning only to buy tires. I mentioned the fuel mileage issue to the assistant manager and he suggested another fuel system cleaning, at $ 40 off if it was done at the same time as the tires. I was reluctant — the last one didn’t work — but we were so sick of it we said yes. TK started work on the tires and found that all of the shocks were terrible, and the front shocks were about frozen! And ATL couldn’t figure this out?
Long story short, TK made our truck feel like a whole new vehicle. They fixed the fuel system problems and made the gas mileage better, the shocks solved the front end suspension problems and we love our new tires. In fact, the broken shocks may have made our previous tires fail quicker than they should have, and ATL didn’t care. ATL charged us plenty of $$$$ and did not solve our problems. They’re nice folks and ok for oil changes only, I guess, but I wouldn’t recommend them and we’re never going back.
