Never again as long as Helen works there. Rude, unprofessional, and careless with patrons safety.

This season we enrolled our three kids in swim lessons being taught at the Great Mills Pool via the Parks and Recreation program. We are very impressed with the whole experience thus far. My oldest was going underwater and paddling by the end if the second lesson. All three have a much higher confidence level in the water now. Prior to the lessons I had never been to the pool before. It’s a large Olympic size pool that goes up to nine feet deep. There is a zero entry section that goes to three feet deep. This shallow section is pretty large and opens up to the larger deeper section. It is a gradual transition to the deep end. There are six lanes in the deep section for lap swimming as well as a platform for jumping into the pool from for each lane. To maintain climate control during the fall and winter there is a large bubble built over the pool. It is rather nice though its a bit stuffy in the early spring. I havent been in there during the winter. I am told that they remove the bubble in the spring and the pool will then be exposed to the outside. Definitely recommend this pool for classes, etc. I am sure the free swim and other events are just as nice.

Great pool! Offers aqua aerobics, water walking class, swim lessons, and adaptive aquatics. 6 lanes available for lap swim. In the evening during the week lanes are reduced to just two lanes due to the local swim team using them. Wonderful staff and clean facility!
