Pedicure was a good price, the hours are good, and you do not need an appointment. But overall I did not enjoy my experience. It was very warm inside like there was no air running. I sat for a long time. It seemed like they did not have enough people working. Also, what appeared to be the owner was cursing and telling an off color story. It didn’t bother me but didn’t help with my relaxation. The worst part is that my polish didn’t even last 2 days. After wearing shoes for 4 hours the nail polish rubbed off one toe and then peeled off. Didn’t chip… But literally peeled off in one big piece. Polish was also bumpy and was not good quality.

I use this salon when I’m running a little low on money, but still need my nails done. They have an awesome manicure pedicure special for $ 35. Usually I do Nexgen, but that can get pricey. For the manicure pedicure deal you can’t really beat it!

I’ve been to this salon four times. The first time was a pedicure and it was fine. They got me in and out quickly and did a pretty good job. The next time I went, I received horrible service. The water was cold and looked dirty. When I told them it was cold they just drained it a little bit and added some lukewarm water but it still stayed cold. The lady who did my pedicure could not have cared less. She rubbed the same spot on my shin over and over and over until I finally begged her to stop. The paint job was terrible and uneven. But hey, I figured I’d give them another chance. I went back for another visit and it was just as bad as the second. Again with the lady who uses her thumb to rub your shin over and over on the same spot until you beg for mercy. I don’t know why but I went back again yesterday… amnesia, I guess. Once again with the cold, dirty water — and it stunk. I mean the water and the shop smelled so bad! After sitting there for 30 minutes (by myself) just soaking my feet in dirty water, I saw the shin – rubbing woman headed toward me so I literally grabbed my stuff and ran. I absolutely could not bear another shin rub from her. I will not be going back and I almost think the state needs to check this place out after the smell yesterday. Do yourself a favor — don’t go here.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had getting my nails done :-/​Service started out fine, but when my hands were put into a bowl of acetone to soak my old gel off for 15 minutes, that should have been a red flag. The service continued to go downhill from there. The technicians kept switching between clients — and disappearing for no reason. All in all, my hands were under the UV light for 45 minutes, I finally had to remove them and was scolded by the technician. My thumb nails are bumpy horrible messes and all of my nails don’t go to the cuticle. Very disappointed and definitely will not return again.

5 Star manicures, pedicures, and artificial nails! I have been going to Tip Top Nails for more than 10 years and have NEVER had a bad experience! If a problem of any kind occurred it was handled quickly and efficiently! Annie & the Tip Top Nails staff go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction!!!

My friend got a terrible infection from getting acrylics at this shop. I have never been here myself, but after my friend told me about her horrifying tale of excruciating pain, ER visits, giant needles and oozing green puss I felt the need to write this review as a precaution to others to be careful about this place.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a new nail salon to call home. I visited this place three times in order to give it a fair review. I Wanted to like it because it is so close to my new home. I was let down all three times. This last time I arrived on a Tuesday late afternoon. I went in for a gel manicure. I saw a special on the window that said manicure and pedicure for $ 32. When I walked in the salon was slow and I asked for a gel manicure.(Salon was extremely warm and stuffy.) They asked if I wanted a pedicure, too. They could do both at the same time. I said sure. I did gel manicure and basic pedicure. The ladies were nice but the pedicure was lacking. She rubbed my heel once maybe twice with the pumice stone. The massage lasted maybe 3 minutes on each leg. She went to remove a ingrown toenail and I winced in pain. It looked as if my toe was about to bleed. When all was said and done my bill was $ 50. I understand paying more for gel but not $ 18 dollars more. It was the end of the work day. I was tired. I didn’t argue and paid plus tip. I just won’t ever return. Go to Majestic Nail off Lakeside. They are much better.

Horrible experience, I went to get a soak off (which means they take off the acrylic). Well she didn’t do that she just pulled them off which was extremely painful and I even told her that hurts and she gave me a nonchalant sorry! I should’ve just left and went somewhere else but I needed them off.
Then during the service she was talking about me in her language. And I new it because the guy came and looked.

First time here today & I am IMPRESSED! I was immediately greeted & seated for my pedi. Also a kind staff. I informed the lady that I wanted Cowboys colors & a silver star on one toe on each foot. She recommended a perfect glittery blue & silver color for a star. She went over & above to add small rhinestones at each point of the stars. GORGEOUS! This salon is also moderately priced! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was probably the worst «spa pedicure» I have ever received. The customer service was awful. The «massage» consisted of her rubbing the same spot on my shin over and over, and I could have done a better paint job at home. I had to go home and clean up the paint that was flooded all over my cuticles after I asked her to please correct it without success. Honestly, I was happy the pedicure was so short just so I could leave! Thankfully, I had a gift certificate and didn’t actually spend my own money. I will NEVER return here.

I’ve been going to his nail salon for 2 years now and have not had any problems. I’ve never been and had to wait. I have always been helped right away. It seems like a clean place and I like their quality of work.

I went here because I was looking for a place in Lewisville that did real nail art, not just adding flowers to a french manicure, and found their Facebook via Google and decided to check it out. Terrible mistake. I received the worst pedicure of my life — my toe nails are cut crooked and the woman cut my cuticles so bad I bled. The the acrylic fill… oh goodness. I wanted an ombré design, and the woman (who happened to be the owner) tells me you can only do ombré designs with acrylic powder and she didn’t have the powder colors I wanted. I tried to tell her that I’ve had it done using polish before and she said I was wrong. Okay… so I ask for just plain black polish and a Galaxy design on two nails. She says «No no I’m going to do something else» and uses black acrylic powder with glitter to do the fill and tells me that it looks just like a Galaxy design. I had been there for 2 hours at this point and just wanted to get out of there so I just let her finish so I could leave. Then, against my better judgement, I allowed her to wax my eyebrows… they’re SO thin and uneven. Thank god my eyebrows grow crazy fast.
I will NEVER go back, and urge others to stay away! So many better places to go in the same neighborhood.

I have been. A loyal, regular client here for 4 years. I have always gotten compliments on my nails after a service. I have never had an injury here. Annie and all the techs take great care of me and my family when we come. I will be a customer for life.
