Spa Synergy

Horrible, Have they not gone out of business yet? I tried them 3 times hoping that I just had bad experience the first 2 times. NOPE, horrible management, random prices, No shows and bad customer service. Who ever thinks this place is good needs to try a real spa and massage service.

I had purchased 2 separate Groupons, used 2 separate times at the 2 different locations over a year ago.
My first was a hair-​cut at the old strip mall location. The stylist was polite and well-​educated but was the only one there minus a masseuse that seemed in a poor mood and stayed hidden. The stylist had to stop to answer the front desk phone multiple times but overall did a great job with my hair. She described the management as poor and had planned on leaving soon.
My second was a massage at the new location. The office had runner rugs all over and a very old couch and a cheap dining chair as the «waiting area». Like others said, the place was very dirty, smelled, and only had 1 person there, the older lady that performed my massage. She was not expecting me when I came in, despite my appointment. The massage was memorable for only the reasons of the paint-​stained dirty floor, the off smell, the time shorted (less than 50 min for a 60 min massage including changing time), and that she brought the phone in with her, answered it multiple times leaving the room, then she just said «ok, done» and walked out, leaving me to change I assumed. During the massage the «offered» a hot stone massage which was poor at best.
I definitely won’t be going back and would never recommend it.

Absolutely terrible. I got a different price every time I called. I tried to explain to her what they told me the first time I called and she told me «there is no argument». Don’t waste your time. Very unprofessional. Joke of a business.

Since it was my mothers birthday I decided to book a 60 min massage, 60 min facial and foot scrub for two! We were feeling a bit adventurous and decided to try this place since we had seen groupon deals. I call them up and the lady who answered was very eager to please and promised that we would have an excellent experience and was thrilled that we were coming. She booked our services for later that day and when we were ten mins late she called and helped navigate us there because it was difficult to see from the road. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted and offered water and use of the bathrooms. The bathroom was older but clean so I cant fault them for that. Archna S. was my masseuse and she was AMAZING! Ive been a member at massage green for several years and Ill tell you what Archna was a million times better! Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy massage green and I love the Frisco location but Archna has got SKILLS!!! Plus there was a TON of beautiful aromas from the different lotions and balms that kept me drifting in and out of a complete zen state. Before she finished on each side (and service) she asked if there was an area that I would like for her to go back to for a few mins… OH AND YOU KNOW I WAS LIKE EVERYWHERE!!! The services here blew my mind!!! I didn’t know a massage could be this good and Ive had a BUNCH.
This place is a hidden GEM! Fear not Unilocalers! this is an exceptional VALUE. I wish that the building itself was more stylish but I think that if it was in an upscale location the prices would probably be a lot higher. So Ill take an older location with cheaper prices but RESORT quality services.

Archi is the most amazing massage therapist I have had in all of my life. She is the owner of Spa Synergy in Lewisville. She always makes herself available at times that are most convenient for me and I am always refreshed and relaxed after a session with her. Simply amazing experience with Archi. Olivia also gives the best skin care applications and her waxing is impeccable.

So they have yet another location. Don’t like it at all. I’ve had a few massages at Spa Synergy and they only went from good to bad. The last massage I had was an odd one. When I walked in to the massage room the curtains were drawn and never adjusted to keep the light out. The lady kept answering her phone and telling me to «hold on» while she had a whole 2 minute conversation each time about 3 times. I was extremely irritated but I kept «holding on». The room smelled a little mildew-​ey and she used NO aroma therapy that day. I hope it gets better, I will keep checking the reviews to find out but I don’t think I will be back. Nice people but lacking good service to the paying customer.

I have been going to Spa Synergy for a few months now and love it! They are very accommodating and I love getting facials from Olivia. She is very professional and knows what she is doing. She has taken my skin back to a sleeker more refined look. I recommend Spa Synergy to my clients all the time. They are willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and they are very reasonable too. Definitely is nice so that I can treat myself several times a year instead of just on special occasions.
My daughter and I had a birthday «spa day» since our birthdays are a day apart. She is 24 but still very modest. Even she felt very comfortable with the massage and the facial and wants to go back!
I will continue to go to Spa Synergy because of the great services they provide, the professional staff and the location is perfect!

I don’t understand how Archna S. could have beendragged by her spouse to Spa Synergy, when she is one of the co-​owners. Please read the sole filtered review. I do NOT recommend visitingthis business until the owners invest in actually learning how to do a facial or a massage.

My experience was horrible, so I am going tot stick to the facts and let you decide whether you would do business with this company.
Facility: The spa is located in an older strip shopping center that is nearly vacant. The spa itself was very low budget. A pillowcase draped over a floor lamp was how the light level was controlled in the massage room. The toilet was filthy (I am sure you don’t want details). The sheets on my massage bed were thin twin bed sheets and turned inside out. There was a faint stench on the pillowcase used on the head rest of the massage table. My view while face down on the massage table was a dirty, un-​vacuumed floor with what seemed to be paint splotches. The sauna is a small home-​sized unit that is tucked in a corner of an overcrowded room of dirty, old equipment used for pedicures and foot detoxes.
SERVICES: I asked for a 90-​minute Combination Massage and a 50-​minute salt scrub. I was in the room for a total of 1 hour and 14 minutes total, including changing time. She wanted to charge me full price for the service by stating that when you add a salt scrub to a massage she does the services concurrently. She resolved the issue by charging me for a 60-​minute massage and regular price for salt scrub. In effect, I paid $ 150 for a 1-​hour massage/​salt-​scrub combo.
Fifteen minutes into my massage she excused herself from the room to turn the chimes off the front door from people walking in/​out. The phone rang several times during my massage and there was no one manning the front desk to answer.
When it was time to flip over she massaged one leg and then began the salt scrub, never completing the massage on the rest of my front side.
The massage oil was a bowl of lotion sitting on a table in the room that I used to store my personal effects. The hot stones were room temperature through the whole massage with the exception of the first time she pulled them out. She clanked, dropped and messed with the stones throughout the entire massage and it was a distraction.
Her Indian traditional head massage (upcharge) was about 45 seconds of using her thumbs to massage a 1 square inch section of the top of my head.
I currently have scratches and abrasions on my back from the salt scrub. I have since come home, showered and my husband put Neosporin on them.
MY OPINION: It was absolutely the worst massage I have ever had. I typically get 1 – 2 massages a month, so I have experience with many different styles and types of treatment. The place is disgusting, filthy and I am concerned about whether my sheets were ever washed from the previous client. I believe the «homemade» salt scrub was nothing more than Mortons Salt. She was inexperienced with the human muscular structure and unable to «fix» or properly work on my neck and shoulder tension. She was inconsistent in her massage efforts and when I left I felt as though I had been ripped off. In fact, I had. BEWARE!!!

Got the mini-​spa package for my birthday and it was wonderful!!! Had a wonderful experience!!! It came with a 90 minute massage, 50 minute facial and a body scrub. The masseuse really did well and was knowledgeable on trigger points and reflexology. The skin care specialist that did the facial and body scrub was really good too!!! Didn’t think I would like the body scrub, but I really did! I highly do recommend this place to anyone. I will admit it is not was not easy to find (in a secluded out of the way place) and not a good sign, but the talent running it is worth it. :-)
