I moved to the area and have been looking for a new doctor. I’ve been sick for a few days, and finally acknowledged that it will not clear on it’s own. I came into their office first thing in the morning hoping they could fit me in. I was turned away. Guess I’ll still have to look for a doctor for the future.

I am 67 years old and i recently moved to Lewisville area and I needed to find a caring family doctor who was not just about the money and I did fine a caring one went and saw Dr. Shepherd for the first time. The nicest doctors office and the best care I have ever had

This place super sucks I made a Unilocal account just to rate this place I had an appointment at 3:20pm got called back at 3:30 to a room and still didn’t get seen until 4:50. I asked one of the nurses if they forgot about me and she said I was next 30mins later and still nothing I don’t understand if I wasn’t going to be see until 5 then it would have been a lot easier to get out of work I understand that they have other patients but when they tell me there is a charge if I don’t show up or cancel my appt. but then nothing gets done about the wait time when I get there only 2 patients got called before me and there were a couple of people that got there after me but they were seen before me I wish they would have just told me they forgot about me or I wasn’t that serious something better then you are next seriously folks GO SOMEWHERE ELSE this is the reason I never go to the dr’s

I am a seasoned health care provider who sent my significant other to Dr. Shepherd for evaluation based on symptoms of fatigue, headaches, decreased energy, depressed mood, decreased libido, decreased tolerance to cold, and muscle pains that have been present for a period of months. He is a young man in his 30’s, therefore this is not normal. I prepared a list of possible causes and requested 2 simple blood tests (TSH and testosterone level) since I was unable to accompany him to his appointment. To my dismay, my significant other stated that Dr. Shepherd reviewed his latest labwork from a standard physical (CBC, BMP, and cardiac enzymes based on an abnormal EKG) and then completely disregarded his complaints and the reason for making an appointment. People put their lives in their physician’s hands trusting him/​her to manage their health. Apathetic physicians like Dr. Shepherd who lack compassion have no business caring for patients.
