My local G store. I love this Kroger. They have all the stuff that I need(except parking sometimes). The prices are decent and the store is very clean and homeless/bum free unlike Target across the street. I do not hold it against them that they charge me 5 cents per plastic bag. This is the result of all of us not voting for the right city counsel. It’s a ridiculous ordinance/tax, but not Kroger’s fault. The frozen food selection is respectable as is the meat and fish department. If you shop here without a Kroger card you are wasting money BIGTIME. I filled up on chicken, pork and veggies for a month and my tab was over $ 200. After they scanned my K Card, it dropped to $ 120. Don’t miss out on the deals like that. Also, if you ever go outside of Dallas they have Kroger gas stations that offer rewards on top of the savings that you get while using your Kroger card. I have only seen this once, but I rarely leave the inner beltline. This Kroger has very good wine prices — on par with Total Wine on most good Cabernet if you buy six bottles in one visit. The discount is about 10% off and you can mix bottles. Beer is a different story. It’s less expensive than convenience stores, but not much. They have a convenient lotto ticket machine on the way out that has provided at least one $ 50 winning ticket in the last 6 months. Worth a mention. Grab a scratcher or two if you have a 10 or 20 on you. It’s cash only(I know that’s stupid, but I think it’s a law). The staff is friendly and efficient. Unlike any of the«Marts»(K or Wal) they actually open up their cash register lanes when they get busy so that we don’t have to wait in ridiculous lines. Thank you for that competence! The employees also speak English and don’t sound like they have a mouth full of marbles when they greet you. Walmart could learn from this, because we DO notice your employee’s attitudes. It’s a major upgrade from Tom Thumb or Trader Joe’s. It’s convenient and reasonably priced. The one pet peeve I have is that their anti-theft shopping carts misfire while you are INSIDE the store trying to buy their products. I suppose shopping cart theft is a problem in this industry(WTF?), but don’t penalize the customers for the actions for the riff raff! Overall, this is the best place to buy all of your grocery needs, fresh, frozen, canned or otherwise.

Marked by an old, tired exterior, ands equally worn inteior, I made a stop at this Kroger after a recent move. The deli was an absolute afterthought… only Kroger brand products, and only a handful of that. Selection at the rest of the store sends so-so at best. Prices are reasonable, though I don’t know why I have to keep going through the exercise of using a reward card for this. On the whole, I would not use this market again… much nicer alternatives nearby.

The place feels spaces and floors are clean. The front entrance is what needs to be more neat and clean. Their food selection are good.

Scary, dirty, glad I don’t ever have to return here. You will get hassled for money outside and if you try to ignore they yell at you. The staff not professional

Just saw a HUGE cockroach(at least 2″ long) run across the floor near their customer service desk. Totally grossed me out. I definitely will not be shopping there any more. On a side note — Their pharmacy filled my prescription super fast and they were really nice. Too bad I have to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy due to the store’s poor sanitary conditions.

I mainly shop at different locations and few times a month I’ll be here for their promotion. The meat staff are not attentive; usually see rolling trays of meat that they just cut that day but sitting out for a while. Usually there are 2 – 3 cashiers available. There is one guy who does nothing but stand there — He has the«lights» on indicating he is open but never proactively go ask the customer if he can help. EVEN when there are 3 people waiting on line he is just standing there — customer does not know if your lane is open or not by looking like a dumb idiot day dreaming. Fix it!

I’ve come to this place a lot because it happens to be extremely close to where I lived, but throughout the years I’ve come here, it never improved. This place is very unsanitary and a lot of the aisle are a mess. It’s always a hit or miss if the produce are fresh or not and some of the employees look poorly groomed and a certain employee that I always see there emits a foul odor all the time. Save yourself the visit and just drive a few more minutes to the nearby Walmart or Target.

I have to agree with the previous review from 2010. Sad that this store was dirty back then as well. I have to pass this store on my way home daily. In the 3 years I have lived in that area, I have been in that store maybe 3 times due to some emergency. I just dont see any reason for any Kroger to be in this condition. It really speaks to how they value their customers according to what the neighborhood is like. The produce is never fresh and the meat section smells bad. The only upside is that if you are looking for something out of the ordinary like turkey necks, you can find them there. But again that speaks to who their customers are an they deserve a better store.
