Fuzzy’s Taco Shop

Starting off my adventure in this desolate wasteland you call «Chinese food», I was greeted at the counter by a 56 year old beast of a woman. Her stench as bad as her armpit hair, I was excited, hopefully she would serve would serve my food. I bought one of the t-​shirts from fuzzys, I used it in the bathroom. I don’t prefer toilet paper, company shirts feel better. Going back to the food situation, I (as always) provide the best atmosphere to those around my anus, a great place for anyone and any person whom might enjoy that. The tacos in which that I had ordered, was served to me by the ghastly employee known as «The Fister». At long last, I have never had a better fisting in my life than from him, I would recommend this to my family upon next visit, as I was having to much fun the first time.

Don’t come after 9 for late night eats, staff is rude, food is sub par. Tacos barely have anything on them, shells are broken and cracked. Chips are unseasoned, queso was barely warm.
They put both my boys kids meals on the same plate with only 1 side of potatoes, even though I paid for 2.
They are much better in the morning.

Seemed much darker and slightly dirtier than the other DFW locations we have visited, but the food was good and service was great. Not the usual Mexican food, and that is what we like. Grandsons loved the chips with cheese, and the employee was so friendly to them. That is what makes a difference in my book. Keep the great food coming Fuzzy’s!

The location is great and spacious. The employees have an awesome personality. Wonderful atmosphere. The food is a miss. I really hate to say it but the queso on the nachos is not … well, it’s not good. I ate and scarfed everything from hunger because I was going into work (and I really should be cooking and juicing) but yeah I’ll pass.
And I’ve been here twice. This is the second time, so I’m convinced that while the place is awesome the food is not for me.

My family has eaten at many of the Fuzzy’s locations in DFW and this is the best one. I don’t know why but it just tastes better. They are very quick getting the orders out– even when busy. Clean and friendly.

Fuzzys is a great place for gourmet tacos and Mexican food without paying the crazy price. The atmosphere is great. However, Unilocal doesn’t recommend all good reviews for restaurants so no one will probably see this about your business.

You get what you pay for. They have the casual, cheap taco shack concept nailed down. Good music that’s not too loud, friendly and young staff, and great drink specials.

My girl summarized this visit well. «Walked in A huge Fuzzy’s fan, walked out from my last visit.» Came here looking for crawfish tacos (Not on menu any longer). I had A California Heat taco and Shrimp burrito. The burrito could have passed for fried rice in a flour tortilla. The California heat was a good blend of flavored ingredients but too small and over priced. The three ‘crispy’ tacos were served cold in foldable soggy shells. Looks like a chain that outgrew quality. Too many choices in this market for over priced under valued meals.

As a disclaimer, I do live within walking distance and there isn’t a torchy’s nearby.
Fuzzy’s is a great place to eat good mexican food that doesn’t leave you feeling bloated.
My favorite is the temura shrimp and tempura fish. The patio is a great place to kick back and have a beer or margarita. The margaritas are awesome .I am usually nota tequila fan but I will drink these guys. Good stuff. Although you can’t really kick a few back here. It’s a family place so I have never felt comfortable getting drunk and I imagine you get weird looks going back to the counter for more beer or margarita. That’s my only beef. Other fuzzys locaitons have a legit bar in them.

The food is always good. Some of the staff can be a little iffy but I can forgive that for good tacos.

Quality starts with good employees and this joint is already starting to deteriorate with some bad ones. For starters, the petite chica with curly hair and glasses who runs the counter and collects the money short-​changed me not once, but TWICE in the last couple weeks. I noticed it on both occasions but didn’t say anything the first time as it was only two bucks. But the second time, the bill ran about $ 22.50 so I gave her two $ 20 bills and she only returned $ 7.50 intending to keep $ 10 for herself!
Of course, I called her out on this second attempt at larceny and she acted really nervous and gave up some half-​assed excuse that she wasn’t paying attention. Truth is she was nervous as all hell after she got caught and was anything but innocent about it (keep in mind that she pulled this shit before on us). What’s weird is that she made multiple trips to the kitchen after this second incident and came back glaring at us as we were waiting for our food, which arrived COLD! This has never happened before at any Fuzzy’s chain and I’m not one to paint with a broad brush, but none of my disposable income will ever be spent at THIS particular location as long as that woman is still working there. All that being said, I have had nothing but positive experiences at Fuzzy’s other locations.
Watch your change if you still insist on dining at the Fuzzy’s in Lewisville and I’d really think twice about using plastic.

Disgusting terrible irritating experience
Had hair in my fajita salad. blonde hair mind you I have jet black hair.. He went to the kitchen and told the girl with the blond ish brown hair that it was in my salad. And she and the other guy cool laughed I’m glad they thought it was FUNNY because I didn’t it was disgusting qhy don’t you make your food preparers wear hair NETS …
Well I was pissed off sat there and didn’t eat anything while my son ate his food irritating watching the girl whose hair was in my salad laughing away. Wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone never going there again definitely telling friends and family here in Highland village not to go either
Rude disrespectful employees train them better customer service is very important but apparently not to this location.. I work in customer service and if this was my team I’d fire them alll

Great spot to have a chill lunch. Friendly service. Beers served on frozen shrimp cocktail-​Like glasses not stein, but frozen nonetheless so keeps your beer nice n cold. Food was delicious. I got the grilled fish and grilled shrimp tacos myself.

This place is great, I love their tacos. I usually get the chicken soft tacos, sometimes beef, the shrimp tempura is really good too. The fried shrimp is super crispy and deliciously juicy inside. The margaritas are good, standard. Love, love, love their hot sauce. Had to buy a couple bottles for home. It’s always a treat to eat here.

Fuzzy’s never disappoints! This place is the best chain in Dallas to get a wonderful taco (with the exception of Torchys). The employees are always nice and smiley!
You can’t go wrong with the shredded chicken or pork tacos. The salads are awesome as well — get the avocado ranch on the side! I’d say the fish tacos are ok but a lot of time are pretty moist so they go through the taco shell.
They have a rewards program as well and an app on your phone so you can earn cool stuff! (And a knockoff of fruit ninja with fuzzy stuf!)

HORRIBLE customer service from the kid in the kitchen AND the Manager… they reduced their salad portions for the large to that of a small! When I commented to the kid in the kitchen about the portion size I received a lot of rhetoric about company policy… blah, blah, blah… reduced the amount of salad… blah, blah, blah. I then complained to the Manager about his attitude and got the SAME thing from her!!! Seems like its time for some Customer Service 101 for those two!!!

Chips are stale, food is average. I wouldn’t go back. Service was nothing special. There are way better tex mex options

WORST. FUZZY’S. EVER.
We go to Fuzzy’s all the time — the Denton location, the Camp Bowie location, and the Grapevine Mills location. It’s always a good place to get cheap and awesome fish tacos. However… We visited this Fuzzy’s for the first time last weekend and it was AWFUL. It was a Saturday night, 6 pm, and they ran out of fish. I substituted shrimp instead, but when I got the shrimp it was burned on the outside and raw in the center. My husband’s food was cold and the queso was cold as well.
Super gross. Never going back.

I’ve already sung praises for the fuzzy’s in Denton. This place is a small chain, but they have THE BEST baja style tempura fish tacos around. I have yet to find a place I like better. Make sure to add some butt-​burnin’ sauce.
