Bam Liquidation

My laptop crashed this week-​end. I searched refurbish computers Lewisville, Tx. Bam liquidations came up in the search. Monday I went to the address and walked inside and the receptionist had me sign in to enter the show room, I entered and a sales person approached me and I told him my computer needs and he suggested a HP Elitebook 8440P. I have purchased refurbished computers before so I made a special point to ask about the battery was it replaced at the time of refurbishment and he said yes. I purchased the unit and proceeded home with my find. When I got home I found the clerk had over charged me by $ 10.81 plus the tax on the 10.81.I called and the clerk said was correct and it will be adjusted and I was ok with that. I started tested the unit and found the headphone jack would not work, I never seen this problem before. Now the battery test, so far the battery only runs less than 2 hours and its dated 9/2010.I will be returning back to Bam to address these issues-​Update-​, The tech fixed the headphones issue and would not help with the battery problem so when I asked about the over charge and he said store credit only. I told him its not my error and he said mastercard will charge me about $ 3.00 for a fee and I said I will file a BBB report along with this Unilocal,He felt Unilocal was a joke and maybe it is I will see how the public responds. I plan a dispute on my credit card also… if SO I will edit this review and add a star or two.
