AWFUL! ive tried and tried and tried to use this store. when i was pregnant i used them for a registry. it was extremely difficult to find someone in the store who would come set it up and get me going. every time since then it seems nobody works here? i see maybe two employees at the registers(maybe) and thats it. nobody can ever help me locate an item and thats after i had to find them first! really frustrating. please hire more employees or staff more and train better.

This was the only place my wife and I had a baby registry. We figured with the 10% store credit they offered it would be worth it. Most of the items on the registry were purchased by ourselves and we always calculated the 10% when comparing prices. Our son is now 5 months old and we have not received our gift certificate. Every time we ask they give us a longer time frame for the certificate to arrive. At this rate maybe we can use it at Toys R Us for his 10th birthday.

Had a new born and needed supplies for my kid. We ordered $ 1000 worth of stuff online to be picked up at this store. We tried to get to the store on new years eve before closing. My wife called to ask if they could wait for us. The store didn’t have the heart to wait 5 minutes. The manager needs to go to customer service school. We immediately canceled our order and going to Buy Buy baby.

The staff here has always been wonderful and accommodating, I won’t buy baby items anywhere else. They also have lots of promotions and great discounts.

This place is ok! I have had no luck here when I’m shopping on a budget. Everything seems over-priced. I like to go next door to Burkes or a discount store and tend to have better luck. So, I’m strictly talking about small gifts/toys. Obviously they have a wide variety of baby things! So I would take a look for yourself!

Expensive! Sales are ok, but not good enough to warrant coming here without gift cards.

This store is big and has a great selection with many options. However it is dirty which is ironic for a baby store. Customer service is hit or miss. Overall I will continue to shop at this location as it is the best option around me but it still fails to meet expectations. Plus it is a bit expensive.

My nephew’s 5th bday was coming up so I ordered what he specifically asked for from Toys R Us’ website. I went to pick it up and it wasn’t at Toys R Us! I had to drive to the Babies R Us across the freeway to pick it up. Toys R Us and Babies R Us are not in the same building in Lewisville. Ugh. My order did say Toys R Us!!!

Sadly, I’ve spent more time in a Babies R Us in the past 5 months than any childless woman ever should in such a concentrated time. In late September, my good friend J had her first baby. So, being her first baby, she wants to always buy him nice outfits and things on sale for this time next year, try out new products, look at carseats for the future, etc. etc. etc. And somehow… I keep winding up there with her. I think she convinces me to go when I’m hungry and likely to agree to just about anything. Not having a child myself, I think I can give this store a slightly less biased review than moms who are either weary or super duper excited. Babies R Us is a gigantic store. You can find a TON of things you need in there(and also a ton of things you really would never need, but think you need when you’re in there and overwhelmed)… but a lot of it is incredibly overpriced. The one saving grace of all of that is that Babies R US is always having sales. No, really. ALWAYS. I have been in there a LOT in the past 5 months and there are always at least 4 sale racks(in the boy’s department; fewer in the girl’s– we noticed when we were trying to find something for another friend) and other things are on «Special», though not«Clearance». But even with the sales, a lot of things are still really expensive. I get that folks want to spoil their kids and buy the cutest outfit and the best outfit, etc. etc. I get it! I promise! This childless woman gets it! However, kids are expensive as hell in so many regards. Clothes are definitely one of the places where you can save some cash– ESPECIALLY since kids outgrow them so fast. Now, if money is no object, then go to town. Buy whatever you want at Babies R US– sale or no sale. But if you work for a living and are on any kind of a budget, you MUST shop smart. Keep your eyes open for good sales, sign up for the Babies R US Rewards program, get their coupons in the mail, get a Babies R US card. It sounds incredibly tedious, but I can tell you that it will save you a huge sum of money. The last time we were there, we saved $ 75 on the purchase(which, granted, still wound up being about $ 250) by clipping coupons, combining coupons when possible, using a Babies R US Rewards cards, a $ 10 Babies R US rebate card(given to us LAST time we were there because we bought a 1000000-count pack of diapers which earned us that free money for next time!), and paying with the Babies R US credit card. Seriously, $ 75. So, the sales can be awesome when you find them, there are obviously a TON of of baby/kid items available here that are difficult to find elsewhere(especially in so many varieties and size packs). but I recommend watching the register as the items are rung up. One item that we got last time was very clearly on sale(Carter’s sleep set thingy) for ½ off… but when we got to the register, it rang up as full price. I went to check the rack we got it from to verify the sale… and the sign was gone! There were about 3 signs about that particular sale, and when I got back there, the signs were gone. Overall, I rated this as only 3 stars because of the price. A lot of items(at regular price) are considerably more expensive here than your Target, WalMart(obviously), and even grocery/drug stores. Selection is definitely a saving grace that almost bumps it up to 4 stars. It means I only have to wander around one giant store instead of about 4 tiny ones… Which is nice for this crazy cat lady Aunt Kate.
