The ONEANDONLY Burmese restaurant around Dallax, TX! I was there for two weeks and was craving for authentic Burmese foods. So glad I found this place. The foods are so authentic and delicious. The mango pickle salad is my favorite. The kind of cooking style they used to prepare the foods and the flavor of the foods are from Chin State of Burma. So it’s rich in flavor and very authentic. They prepare it fresh and the amount is quite fulfilling for the price. Love this place.

Enjoyed the Tom Yum Soup ! Reasonable price for size of bowl served. Modest interior, with friendly service. I expect to return

I’ve never had Burmese food before. Surprising since I’ve lived in S.E. Asia for 20 years. What I had was very good. It was a fish with rice noodle soup. RTE to try the rest. I’ll give a more detailed review then.

This is a great option for solid Burmese food. My lahpet thoh(tea leaf salad) was flavorful, but a tad oily and not enough tea leaf(as Melissa K. mentioned), but it did the trick. I also had the mongh hin kha(fish curry noodle soup), and it was comforting and yummy. I had it to-go, and the food was packed really nicely, with the noodles for the fish curry separate so as not to get soggy. If you’ve never had Burmese food and like Thai and Indian food, it’s worth checking out. Your introduction should probably be lahpet thoh(tea leaf salad) and khoh suai thoh(reminds me of a cross between a pad thai and yellow curry), finished with a Burmese sweet tea.

Love it! I will come back. A hole in the wall small dining area inside a market. They are so nice. They gave me hot tea on the house. They are afraid the food is too spicy for me, they offer more for as little as 6 dollars?! Yes please. There aren’t any burmese restaurant like this anywhere in the dfw metroplex!

This little restaurant tucked in an otherwise un-noticeable shopping strip is great to try. Their donuts were a good, classic fresh cake donut, and a great starter. We also tried the puri — just a classic fried flatbread with a bean dip. There was some other kind of fried bread — they looked like churros but not sweet — all were fairly uninspired, but just good basic appetizers. The soups were good; fried rice, was not worth trying, They also had some kind of corn chowder which on its own was rather bland but on the side they served an onion and pepper mixture that you could add to taste for as much kick as you desired. I had the bean & ginger spicy salad and it was amazing — a multitude of flavors tossed together and unlike anything I’d had before. What disappointed me was the lack of lahpet — the tea leaf salad that I had been looking forward to since the last time I’d had Burmese food — but altogether it was a good experience. This isn’t the sort of place that I could see becoming my favorite, but it’s good to experience other cuisines! Our meal was also very inexpensive — everybody’s bill was only about $ 6.50 + tip. Not bad for exploring something new! The restaurant is connected to a little Asian grocery that offered a variety of Indian, Thai, Burmese, and other Asian goods, so go on a day that you have a bit of extra time to explore. It’s worth it!
