Amazing shop with super reasonable prices! Has LOTS of cookie cutters, some chocolate molds, several LARGE bags of filling, a whole aisle of food coloring(BTW, better selection and 60% less than Amazon), a whole assortment of candles(Try finding birthday candles, it’s harder and way more expensive(online) than you think!), and best part: the plates and domes to transport your creations!(Yeah you can find a couple at Joann’s/Michael’s, but All For Your Cakes was les than $ 5 compared to the $ 20 full-price at the Craft stores.) Only thing I was disappointed with is they didn’t carry any checkerboard pans or a large assortment of fondant. But understandable for space, inventory turnover, and niche(DIY baking) market. Highly recommend this place for the dessert crowd! Oh and yes, SUPERFRIENDLYANDHELPFUL!(1) Even though there were a lot of customers, they patiently explained the different food coloring gel brands and the shortfalls they had personally experienced with each.(2) I misplaced a list when I was there on a Friday. Since shop is «a trip», I called them. The girls kept an eye out all day, found my list, and called me as soon as they found it! Not many places would call you when they find a scrap of paper with doodles on it.

Title says it all. It’s literally everything you’d want for cake making and decorating. The staff is super friendly and helpful and I believe they offer classes as well.

There is no other store in Dallas quite like this one. They have everything you need to make your project a success. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. They’re always interested to hear what you’re making and even offer up tips or make suggestions if they feel you’re going in the wrong direction. They also remember you and ask how your project went the next time you come in. Don’t buy the Walton chocolates, ask to sample their special melting chocolates. They’re amazing and worth the extra few bucks.

This is a locally owned cake and baking supply store that also offers an extensive list of classes(including official Wilton classes!). The big box places that are supposed to have Wilton courses never do — this place has them ALLTHETIME. There is always a class going on here, so there’s never a wait list! And the teacher is so personable and really good at helping people who have a little difficulty at first. As for the shop itself, the owner is always there! She’s super friendly and recognizes regular customers. She personally assists with shopping needs, and has a very very very wide variety of items and multiple brands to choose from at that. Don’t go to Joann’s or Michaels. Go here. She has what you need, with other options, and at cheaper prices. I can’t give this place enough glowing notes. Just go, if you’re a baker, even a casual baker like me, and you will be in love too. She also has a frequent customer card you get stamped for every dollar spent, and when you fill it up you get a discount. I am sad I moved away from here, but I do occasionally make the drive up from downtown Dallas to pick up a few things, because I *know* she will have what I need. Oh, did I mention she *rents out cake pans*?!? Yeah, the ones for cartoon characters and such for kids’ cakes that always cost $ 20 a pop and you only use them once? yeah, she rents them for like a $ 1 a day or something ridiculously cheap like that. Awesome.
