Pure Thai Kitchen

We like Thai food and decided to give Pure a try. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and only one other customer came in while we were there. It was a cold night and a Thursday so they may have more business on other nights. We both had pad Thai and it was done well. Worth a try.

Usually use a different place for delivery for lunch at work. But time to try someone new. So far so good. First time was a little rocky. But second time top notch.

The food at Pure Thai is delicious! I ordered food to go as I’m on a business trip alone and am not fond of dining solo. The food was so good I ordered again the next day for dinner. The service was quick and extremely polite. My order took a few minutes longer than expected, which wasn’t even a slight problem for me, but they included fried bananas because they felt they inconvenienced me (they totally didn’t)! Great food, and fast friendly service!

Drunken Man Noodle and Panang Curry were so delicious! We asked for very spicy and it was!!! We will be visiting here again!

Just had the most delicious Thai dinner EVER!!! The food was amazingly fresh and HOT (temperature, not spicy). The service was top notch. I can’t wait to eat there again. It’s a whole new love affair with Thai food!!! It was an u expected pleasure in a plain little corner of Lewiston.

The food was amazing! I had the vegetable pad thai and spring rolls. The staff are extremely friendly not to mention their prices are really good as well. Definitely will be coming back soon

The food was very very good. Some of the best Thai I’ve had in Maine. The Duck Pancake was wonderful as was my main dish a thai basil curry. My girlfriend had the pumpkin curry and it was HUGE. The quality was great, the place was super clean, there weren’t many other people eating in while we were there, but it was at like 2 on a Sunday afternoon. The only negative was that the dining room was bit chilly.
We will be going back again!

Pure Thai is awesome!
I have tried several of their dishes and they never fail to amaze. The piping-​hot, and delicious food always hits the spot. The service is friendly and expeditious, they are always happy to have you. Furthermore, for the high quality of food Pure Thai cooks up, the prices simply can not be beat.
I am a huge fan of the green curry bowl, nice balance of spicy and savory. Their Pad Thai is also wonderfully executed and delicious.
Can’t get enough of Pure Thai!

Awesome Thai food!!! Phenomenal! The staff treats you like family… sincere and grateful for your presence. Will visit often now that I’ve tried it!!!

First, I would like to say that the staff is so friendly and warm. They go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and your food tastes good.
Second, their food is extremely delicious. I had Pumpkin Curry Shrimp! Yum! It was incredibly tasty. They say that you can tell a place gives you good food when the flavor alone fills you. That describes this place. Add to that I had their Thai Bubble Tea. Yum!
Third, everything is very clean and I like the homey ambience of this place.
Fourth, I did not expect the prices to be as reasonable as they are.
If you want to find the best kept secret among Lewiston’s restaurants, go no further.

I have been here a couple of times for take out and I have to say the food is delicious and a great deal. I have taken advantage of the lunch special (choice of appetizer and entrée for around $ 8) and have been delighted both times (everything is well cooked and seasoned). They will sub ingredients too if you want (like tofu for chicken). The chef and waitstaff are super friendly as well! If you live in the area please support this local gem!

Wow everyone is giving this place 5 stars. It really does not deserve it. I gave it three star for the staff: very friendly and nice. The pad Thai is nothing compared to the pad Thai from vientianne market take out or eat in in Portland. It does not come close. The prices are a bit more than vientianne as well. I figure it would be less expensive in Lewiston.

The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. This is much improved from the prior restaurant. Love that they have bubble teas! The curries are delicious, my favorite being the fattening matsaman, which is made with sweet potatoes. I had the panang curry as well and it was wonderful and fresh. I highly recommend this hole in the wall with its minimalist interior décor. It’s sure to be a pleasant surprise.

I decided to try Pure Thai after hearing a friend rave about the place. I was always hesitant due to its location, not a nice part of town.
The inside is more open than I expected, but small with only 8 tables. It was clean, and I loved the open kitchen– you can rarely see what goes on in the kitchen these days.
I ordered two different types of dumplings, and both were excellent. The steamed Thai dumplings are slightly sweet, with nice peanut flavor. The Pure Thai dumplings were basically a shrimp and chicken shumai.
For the meal, I had the chicken pumpkin curry. It was spicy, cooked perfect, and all ingredients seemed fresh. Very tasty.
The service was very friendly, and the prices were very reasonable.
