Top notch fine dining in lewisburg. We started out with oysters 3 ways (raw, breaded and baked) and they were easily one of the top 5 appetizers Ive ever had, and since Im a big ol fatso, Ive had alot. Dinner for me was the bone in pork chop. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lady had short ribs with braised kale and mashed potatoes, and it was very decadent and homey. Great cocktail list, great service, gorgeous atmosphere. PS: I almost forgot about the coconut lime sorbet served as a palate cleanser; #lordy #blessed #jesus #satan #sorbet #tablebreadwasgoodtoo

This was the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Went here on a Tuesday night when I was in town for work, and came back Wednesday night; I had the short ribs both nights. The wait staff was great. Even the owners came by several times to chat. I’ll definitely return when I’m in town next.

Excellent service, and amazing wine! Oh, and the food? Out of this world! All 5 of our meals were spectacular!

I loved the décor, rustic but with a modern flare. The restaurant had a very warm and welcoming feel that extended to the very attentive staff.
I ordered the roasted red pepper soup, and the filet with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, my colleague ordered the Salmon.
The food was all perfectly prepared, and I loved everything but the two surprises for me were the roasted red pepper soup and the Brussels sprouts. I could have made an entire meal just on those two items! They were amazing.
Prices were very reasonable, and service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and will definitely be back again.

Great little trendy restaurant in the middle of no where (Lewisburg WV). I was at a meeting at the Greenbrier and went nearby to see the local environs. They do the farm to table support of local agriculture and focus on fresh ingredients and evolving menu. Very friendly staff and small place so be prepared to wait for a table. We had burgers and chips. Great food and great service at reasonable prices. I would gladly go back

My waiter is simply outstanding. Ridiculously slow for a light crowd. The food was excellent and made up for the excessive wait.

Excellent restaurant! We celebrated our 25^th anniversary here and had a great time. Food was excellent and the staff could not have been more kind, attentive and helpful. They went out of their way to make it a memorable evening for us.

My favourite restaurant in town! Great atmosphere-​whether you’re there for happy hour or dinner, there’s something on the menu to delight everyone’s palate. One of the few places in town with dedicated outdoor seating. Great for dates or visiting family and friends.

Delicious food, great environment, awesome ambiance. This place is perfect for a fancy night out or a fancy date. Many unique meats! Yummy mixed drinks! Great service!

Made reservations for Valentine’s Day. Was barely greeted by the hostess, placed at a corner table, and didn’t receive any service for over 30 minutes. Only after getting up to walk out did anyone ask if we’d been served yet. Would not return here. Terrible service.

Food was great and service was too. Very nice rustic atmosphere. Had the short ribs and my wife had the peppercorn steak — excellent. I also had a Moscow Mule
that was excellent and in a copper mug. We had the sweetbreads as appetizer which were ok but I’m not crazy about sweetbreads anyway.

This is my fav restaurant. Food is exceptional. Great wine. Romantic atmosphere. My husband took me here on our first date. I love the filet. It has a great glaze. I’ve tried a number of dishes and they are all good. Service is always attentive. Just make a reservation. You can’t go wrong at The Livery. Great patio area during the warm months.

The Livery Tavern in Lewisburg, WV was a nice surprise. The restaurant itself has a quaint, well appointed, dining area with a full bar. The wait staff was very good and accommodating. I had lamb chops, my son had duck, and both were prepared very well. When a bar has Hendrick’s gin that is a good sign that they serve high quality items. I look forward to my next trip through Lewisburg so I can have another meal at the Livery Tavern.

One of the finer restaurants we’ve ever been to. As others have written, a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. Service was top notch. Our server knew the menu & wine list by heart. Presentation was so good, one of our party took pix of each dish to send back to his wife in Napa, Ca. That’s impressive.
We’ll be back soon!

Awesome place. Real-​deal fine dining with an amazing wine selection. Pricey but worth it.
Hint: If you want to skip the candlelit dinner, sit at the bar and hang out with Stacy. She makes a delicious Moscow Mule. After a couple cocktails, order off the bar menu. I recommend the gourmet burger and the fried oysters.

OMG I’m in love! This is my new favorite place within a 100 mile radius of my home. Mouthgasm! Phenomenal from start to finish! Excellent service from Amanda. Wine, food and port accompanied by carrot cake: wow. Lastly, OMG! Go there. Do yourself a favor.

This was the second time we visited the Livery. We went last year, and had some really good food. It was a bit pricey but the portions were good and envy thing tasted great. We went back again this summer with the same expectations.
This time around they got rid of a lot of items that we loved the first time. Goat app, shrimp And grits and duck were all no shows. Replaced with boring items like catfish and prime rib. The app selection was good with the pork belly, sweetbreads etc. but the selection of entrees was dull and expensive. I can’t believed I paid $ 22 for some average catfish. My girlfriend had a piece of prime rib that looks like it was reheated on the flat top.
This place was busy, the service was ok. There were rumors that they fired the chef. For such. Beautiful restaraunt they need to hurry up and hire someone that can put together a better menu selection than what we experienced this go around
