Local version of Chipotle with fresh ingredients to build burritos, tacos or quesadillas. Big portion regular plates and lots of choices of meats, veggies, etc. to build your meal. The pork tacos I ordered where good not great esp. the roasted tomato salsa. The side of sweet potato hash was good and different. A good stop on our road trip and better than all the chains of Hwy 15 and just 2 mins off of 15. I am sure this is popular spot in this college town.

Love, love, love this place! It’s becoming a regular stop for me. Everything is fresh and delicious. Sort of in the«Chipotle Mexican Grill» style, but actually better. Try the Sweet Potato Hash– you won’t regret it. My personal favorite — The Dragon. It’s got just enough heat to make your nose run a little… And loaded with all kinds of flavor at the same time. One other tip — order a kid’s burrito plate. The plate gets more food than a burrito… And it’s actually way more than my kids could ever eat in one meal. It makes for a delicious and very adequate lunch for $ 5.

Excellent fresh and great flavor Mexican food. Worth standing in lane, but they keep it moving steady. I’d recommend the burrito plate, and don’t be afraid to try the sweet potato hash, it’s delicious. And they keep this place clean, what a great find when your just passing through. Thanks Unilocal

Visiting the area. Found this place on Unilocal.I was a big skeptical when we first walked in. Reminded me of subway, only Mexican food. We ordered none the less and may I say I’m so glad we did! Everything was made perfect to order — including my husband’s ‘garbage’ burrito(I didn’t know you could fit that much on a burrito!). So much food for the price! I ordered the half quesadilla, and it was huge! Definitely filled me up! And everything tagged delicious! When we visit Lewisburg again, we will definitely be returning!

we visit this place a few times a year cuz our son goes to Bucknell Univ nearby. Always the highlight of our trip. And the hipster kids who work the counter are sharp and courteous, not the typical«I hate this fuckin job» attitude you see with young people who work at restaurants these days that usually spoils the experience. These guys seem happy or at least they are good actors. Good food-good service. Love it!

The best burritos in town can be found right here. Perhaps the only burritos in town, but still the best nonetheless. I’ve been here several times and the different choices of proteins, rices and salsas make for an excellent way to mix it up. The sweet potato hash is amazing and they also have sides/toppings to cater to the vegan crowd. The guacamole had me skeptical judging by its smooth texture, but the flavors are all there. The white chicken chili is highly recommended. If you want a great meal for around $ 10, stop here and get your burrito, taco, quesadilla or salad cravings satisfied.

Delicious! That’s the only way I can describe Mercado Burrito. Everything is made to order, so you have it exactly how you want. The burritos are always packed full and filling. Get it as a combo, and get chips & salsa and a soda. Chips and salsa are to die for. Salsa is a bit on the spicier side, but I love it.

Excellent spot for a quick lunch while on the road. Staff was very helpful as this was our first time. Great additions(fresh corn, chopped cilantro, shredded zucchini) elevated this from a «typical» burrito place. The burrito salad and quesadilla were wonderful and great size for the price.

Meh… this place is ok. I’m from L.A., so this is definitely NOT the type of Mexican food that I’m used too. I know they are modeled after Chipotle, but I feel they could do WAY better on the quality of meats… they looked pretty blah sitting there on the buffet line and the server had to stir it up to make it look fresher :/And where did they come up with sweet potato hash and feta and blueberry salsas? I mean, to each his own, I just can’t get down with that. The tacos that I ordered tasted ok, but I was disappointed that the tortillas were stale. There was just nothing spectacular about it. Humph… my dream is for a real Mexican food joint in Lewisburg!

Found the place while passing by the town and in need of a dinner. They are pretty divey for a burrito place; the format is not too different from Chipotle, but they have some different ingredients and options. Their portions are pretty huge, and includes some more exotic meat choices such as crab and shrimp. They have some homemade salsas, as well as the option for hash instead of beans. Overall tasty and filling.

Creativity and food can be a detrimental experience for hungry consumers. If executed poorly it can literally leave a bad taste in your mouth. Mercado Burrito has really extended creative tastes to a new level. I never imagined feta cheese in a burrito with sweet potatoes and cilantro would be so tasty. The combination with cilantro rice, jalapeño tortilla and fajita steak was a spark on my taste buds that will leave me wanting more.

Yum!!! Custom burritos with lots of awesome fillings. I had the sweet potato hash with braised beef, jicama, brown rice, roasted tomato salsa and lots of guac. Zman went for the tasty quesadilla with seasoned chicken. Place is super cute, my server really friendly and took her time despite the line. Rock on for good service. Next time I drive the kid to camp I’m coming back! Yummm

Great burritos. Lots of toppings available. Make sure to try the sweet potato hash and the butternut squash salsa. Both are very yummy. They also have quesadillas and tacos too. My only complaint is that the hot burrito toppings get a bit«tired» later in the day because they keep them uncovered(i.e. the beans and the other warm items looked really dried out on the surface and not all that fresh looking). Everything tasted fine, though!

This place is phenomenal. That is all. No seriously, if you like Chipotle’s style but want a different or new set of favors, check this place out. Same setup as Chipotle, start with what you want and pick a meat, beans, toppings, etc. but I wish Chipotle was this good. Their refried beans are made in house and so delicious. The shredded pork was mouthwatering, YOUCANGETSWEETCORN, JUSTTHECORN on your plate. YUM! About 8different salsas including a corn and feta one, I believe? Guacamole is the best I’ve had in a while and I’m very particular about my green love sauce. Only bottled and can drinks, no fountain but you’ll survive. The girls are so helpful(I walked in and couldn’t figure out what was going on, they were very helpful). A great Mexican place, I wonder if they’ll franchise in Lawrence?
