Ordered hot wings, fries, and a large pepperoni pizza last night. Wings are always delicious but the fresh cut fries are just alright. The pizza… phenomenal! We were very impressed with the cornmeal crust, sauce was great, and the pepperonis were huge (not the packaged crappy ones). We will defiantly order again. Glad the new owners are offering some great menu options. I must mentioned we placed a to go order, Silver Lake isn’t really a place to go if your looking for ambience. Defiantly in the dive bar category.

I grew up in this area and have lived a few miles down the road from Silver Lake for 4 years but never went until recently. I have now been there twice. I like to sit in the bar side, even though both times I got dinner too. The only meat I eat is seafood, so I get the crab cake dinner or sandwich, which are both good! My fiancé liked whatever chicken dish he got. Overall, I would say the food is average, but I come for the cheap beer! Like another reviewer said, it’s not a fancy place, but finding places like this is one of the best parts of living in a small town!
