I was hungry for lunch and looking for a different place. So, I pulled up my Unilocal app to search for a different place to grab lunch. Block O Pizza showed up — AND Stromboli! Now, I don’t usually go for pizza for lunch, but their boasting of Stromboli and being the best in Ohio sounded like a fun challenge. Parking in the area can be tight with being pretty close to a Walmart. The parking lot is quite large. I found that they offer a buffet during the lunch hour … pizza, Stromboli and salad. It was a small buffet, but the items were fresh. The interior has a half dozen booths and a number of tabletops for dining inside. I ordered a small Stromboli to go. They offered in three sizes and quite reasonably priced. There was only one person working in the shop at the time and wasn’t very busy. Service was quick. The Stromboli was pretty good! In fact, it’s one of the better one’s I have had, but I stop short of giving it the title of the best. They offer two different versions, but are more than happy to make the Stromboli to order. The crust was flakey, golden brown and good. They provided a side of fresh, thick tomato sauce for dipping pieces. While waiting for my order, I saw them bring out a freshly made large pizza for the buffet. It looked pretty tasty, too! It’s great to learn that there more than one place that offers some great Stromboli in the central Ohio area.

Very Greasy. You can squeeze the pizza and the oils come out. Crust tasted like card board.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had. The sauce is incredible. They need more of these around town. They would do fantastic business on campus.

Read the reviews and boy they are all wrong! I give this pizza a C+ at best, meats and sauce is good but crust is cheap! Not worth your money! Still looking for good pizza in Columbus and this isn’t it!

I went into this place expecting another mediocre pizza, but walked away satisfied both in taste and in wallet. The Stromboli, however, knocked my socks off. Strongly recommend this to anyone bored with the offerings at other local pizza places. Priced perfectly. A very good game day pizza as well as pizza night pizza.

Well … we came in this afternoon for pizza and subs. Immediately told they are out of sub buns? Ok so no offense they are within walking distance to a Kroger. Pretty sure they sell sub buns. Cheesy garlic bread? Very good and very cheesy. Lots of cheese. Antipasto salad very fresh Stromboli was large with good ingredients. Greek salad with chicken was huge Pizza was fresh and good. One star off for the sub buns. Service was solid. Would come back

Just happened to stop in on the day of their soft open and was thrilled we did! This is a family run business and they have spent months coming up with the right crust, pepperoni, sauces & recipes, etc. This is the best thin crust pizza we have found in Columbus(and believe me we have been looking). Thin, yet crisp and most importantly you don’t get that weighted down feeling after eating it. Their garlic bread was equally as light and delicious. It had great freshly roasted cloaves of garlic on it that gave it the right balance of taste and not too much garlic. After eating here we contacted Unilocal to get them on their site, that’s how good it was. They also do lunch buffets for those in a hurry and delivery.
