Interesting tour and very knowledgable guide. I took the «Life in Lewes» tour and it wasn’t what I expected. The tour went to 6 historical buildings filled with many antiques. I thought I might learn more about what day to day life was like for residents of the city of Lewes some 200 years ago. The buildings were moved from their original sites which takes away a little something of the experience for me. I would have liked more historical interpretation of the items and more history of the city. Perhaps that would have been a different tour.
Again, good tour guide and interesting information, pleasant experience for the most part, just not what I expected to see. Antique furniture doesn’t interest me that much.
Keep in mind «Life in Lewes» is at least a 90 minute tour and you will be standing in place much of that time.
