I came here in February to get my tongue pierced based on a friend’s recommendation. I am new to the area and previously had all my work done at Mr. Williams Tattoo which has 2 locations in Orlando and Tavares in central Florida. The fact that this business has been around long enough to branch out just makes it much more trustworthy to me and I felt safe there when I walked in.
It looked clean and acceptable. I was surprised by the professional attitude and general appearance of the staff given their chosen area of business. Some places I walk in and hear people cussing, trying to out-​tough each other, covered in tasteless 666 or swastika type tattoos. This place didn’t give me that vibe at all.
I also noticed that thier professional piercer, Sage, and older man with a long beard, was unexpectedly considerate, almost like a nurse or caretaker. He had turned me in the chair away from my friends who were accompanying me and I had wondered why. I asked him not to warn me and he didn’t, he just made jokes while measuring my tongue. Before you know it, the piercing was done, he offered me bottled water and a tissue, and turned me back around to my friends.
I think I took it pretty well and was no trouble, but was touched by the fact that this guy doesn’t seem to harbour the «no tolerance for wimps» attitute that other piercers and artists do.
Would definitely reccomend this place to friends, and may be returning to get a VCH piercing sooner or later.
