La Focaccia

Food was bad. Waiter could not care less. Go somewhere else for your own sake. And DO NOT get the fried calamari!
The chicken was store bought and frozen the prosciutto was fake ham, everything tasted old like it was on the verge of going bad.

Very poor service. He was rude and even though we were a large party, he rushed us to order and stressed us out.
The calamari was undercooked and lacked salt. The chicken piccata was old and the sauce had no flavor. My brother had the chicken focaccia and the ham was old and tasted bad. My pasta was very hard and undercooked
As someone who comes from an Italian family and cooks it often, I can’t stress enough NOT to eat here. We were here for our friend who was the entertainment.

Love this place. My family and I have been coming here for years. Authentic Italian food with a great atmosphere. The buffalo calamari is a must every time we go!

This place is wonderful! I can’t say enough good things about it. The owner is fabulous too. The calamari was very crisp, and they also have calamari covered in buffalo wing sauce, which was very good. I had never seen that before. The Chianti wine, which we let the waiter choose, went really well with the meal. Everyone at the table liked the wine. The penne pasta with vodka sauce was a hit at our table and arrived pipping hot. This place is a true neighborhood gem and I can’t wait to go back.

So happy to see this restaraunt is still here! I drive up from Florida every few years to visit family and always get a great meal with a visit from the owner to my table!

Shocked to see some of the reviews… Sometimes when people get mad, they tend to tell others to write bad reviews… My husband and I have been coming here for many yrs… We have never had a bad meal… The staff is so accommodating… I know many people who live far away come here… The best though, is in the summer, when we take our grand daughter to the village pool… After we dry off, we walk across the parking lot to La Focaccia and have a slice of pizza…

The best word to describe the pizza is cardboard a few others would be stale and flavorless .The dinners are watery.

When I first moved to Levittown this place used to be great. Sadly now it’s just terrible. The rolls are inedible, usually left over from the day before. As much as I like to see a local business do well, I just can’t bring myself to eat here anymore.

Pizza tasted like ellios. Chicken parm was inedible. Ordered a serving of broccoli and it was yellow/​black, had to throw it out !

I work in the same shopping center and just ordered an Italian hero and had it delivered. It literally has 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of salami and a ton of cheese on it. What a rip off for $ 8.00. Seriously disappointed in the quality of food. Not ordering from there anymore!!!

Used to be very good. Slowly this place is going down the dumps. They allow low lives to hang in and around the place which makes me want to stay away. Staff isn’t to friendly and the pizza is no where near as good as it used to be. Once had a chicken roll for lunch and you could tell it was saved from the previous night because when they took it out of the oven, the middle was COLD. Stay away from this place sadly

Avoid this place unless you like rude people.
I called the other day to order a pie with 3 of the slices of pepperoni on it. The guy tells me, he can’t do that. He can give me a pie with 4 slices of pepperoni on it, half a pie.
I said, I don’t need 4 slices, can’t you just give me 3 slices with pepperoni? This rude idiot, who has only so so reviews to begin with„ and barely any customers parked in front of his place, says to me, can’t you just take 4 slices of pepperoni?
Really? Stupid! If I could use 4 slices of pepperoni, I would have asked for 4 slices.
I hung up and ordered from my new pizza place who had no questions, no problems giving us only 3 slices of pepperoni in our pie.

My son went in for me while I waited in the car. 2 minutes later he comes out and said dad I just say 2 cockroaches walking across the counter the guy was laughing do u still want the pizza. Do I need to explain what happened next.

Delicious !!! Great authentic Italian in a random place if you ask me we also went on doo wop night and the entertainment was awesome from young to old everyone had a blast !! And the. Pricing was beyond reasonable !! I suggest either the ossobuco or lobster ravioli and we split a lot of appetizers and they where all great

We have been coming to this restaurant since it first opened about 20 years ago. Over the years, we have recommended it to friends, purchased gift cards, had neighborhood holiday parties & celebrated special occasions here. The food has always been very good as well as the service.
However, last night we were surprised to learn that the
certificate we purchased for use at LaFoccacia would not be honored by them. We were told by the Manager that the owner instructed all employees to no longer accept
vouchers because they have pulled out of the program & will not honor any more certificates, even ones that had been purchased specifically for this restaurant while they were enrolled in the program.
Needless to say, this terrible business practice. Had to contact
for a credit to another restaurant. Its a shame this place doesn’t value their longtime customers.

This place is unbelievable. The calamari is the best and the sauce they serve it with is huge in portion and in flavor. The bruschetta is another delicious treat and the cannoli is heaven sent.

This place is a staple in the west village green community. I can still remember the old pizza place with the fruit punch fountain soda. It hurts me to do so but take note I judge mostly on the pizza. The restaurant is beautiful and as far as I can remember the food was great. But over the years the pizza has gone down in quality. The sauce is very thin and watery the cheese is good but the crust varies. I also feel I should reveal the fact that they have once delivered me a re-​heated pizza pie. I’ve worked as a delivery boy once and I eat pizza at least once or twice or four times a week. I know for sure you never deliver a re-​heated pie that’s a huge no no! I know some of my fellow east village greeners are going to be upset by this review but hey I have to be honest.

Best Italian food in New York! Enough said.

This place has been going strong since they began with having live oldies (doo-​wop) music almost every Friday night in the restaurant side.
Food is still great and Sal the owner is there to greet everyone.
Definitely a go-​to place!
