Sharky’s Seafood & BBQ

Small yet cozy, the wait staff are a little slow, but very pleasant and friendly. Food was excellent, the fried food was not greasy. I will eat there again.

The burgers are great, but the French fries were cold & chewy. If I wait 20 mins for a burger to be cooked, the least I expect are freshly fried fries to go with it. Cold fries is what I get at a fast food establishment. I thought this place was supposed to be a step up from fast food.
Sides are prepackaged in plastic wrap. Totally not impressed. Main dishes (meats, sandwiches) are hefty & hearty
Take-​out is questionable to get on a consistent basis, since the help whizzes by you without acknowledging you because they are too concerned with their table tips.

Love it!!! Food is AWESOME! The owner of the place is a great guy who makes great food! The staff and cooks are very friendly and attentive. I love the pulled pork melt! The best!

Food was so great we had haddock clam strips and a giant burger… and owner/​employees were very nice :)

I ordered fish and chips. I didn’t mind the wait, when the order came it was substantial. The fries were pretty good (I’ve had a lot better) but still passable. The fish looked delicious and was well cooked, I just didn’t like the batter at all. The coleslaw was chopped cabbage and carrots dressed with mayonnaise period. Not good. No I will not be back.

My work has ordered from here a few times. The BBQ ribs are amazing, fall off the bone. The mac and cheese is phenomenal. The pulled chicken is semi dri so you might want to get something with BBQ sauce.
My only issues is that there has been few times when they are out of items. One time they were out of ribs and thats was very disappointing and another time they were out of everything. We couldnt get ribs, pulled pork, or pulled chicken. If they have it in stock, its good.

Ordered two cheeseburgers, waited about 15 minutes for the wrong order and was stopped on the way out. Once we got back inside they reprinted our ticket which must have ended up at the end of the line, we didn’t get out of there for another 20 minutes.
I love cheeseburgers as much as the next guy but waiting 35 minutes for rare meat isn’t cool. Paid upwards of $ 20, nothing refunded, no apology.
This place isn’t cool, I’m staying loyal to Lance’s next door.

This place is the best value around. The food is always fresh, portions are more than generous. I usually have enough leftover for another meal! The baked stuffed haddock and any of the barbecue items are superior. Rick the owner is more than willing to accomodate any dietary need and he does so with a smile.

Love Sharky’s for both take out and dine in. Nice place to go to keep it casual. Eating there is like being in your own kitchen and having someone serve you. Love it!
Food is amazing and such a great bargain! Portions and sides are huge. Mac & Cheese is a must try. Other favs are: chicken fingers, clam strips, fish & chips. But, you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes!

This was a first time for both my aunt and I; I got the fried clam strips and she had the special which was a salmon in a dill sauce. The clams were amazing; so much flavor and lightly fried. The salmon was unbelievable; the sauce was the perfect combination. Seems like a fun hole in the wall; the staff was great. Next time I visit from California it will definitely be a stop.

If they delivered my food hot and the delivery guy didn’t sound so disappointed that I didn’t have to sign or pay anything it would have been a 5. The food is ALWAYS good when you’re IN the restaurant. I suppose it’s my fault for ordering online on the app, because it took over an hour to get here. So once you get past those things, pretty good. I’ve had service in the actual restaurant, it is pretty great! Otherwise, don’t deliver.

Average — fish and chicken strips were good. Fries were soggy and ribs were cold. Stick with the fried seafood if you go

Each time I’ve been here the food has been great. Service can be a little slow at times but the food more than makes up for it. I will keep coming back again and again. Can’t get enough of the large yummy portions! Get what you pay for– I highly recommend trying their side of Mac and cheese!!!

I am new to the world of eating fish. That being said I came to Sharky’s to try haddock and was not disappointed! Light and crunchy, it was amazing.
Sharky’s is not a fancy sit down dinner type place. I would describe it as a family hole in the wall type place, but with incredibly yummy food. All fresh and made to order. I had the fishermans platter, with sweet potato fries and the Mac and cheese, delicious!
Can’t wait to come back.
The waitress was really sweet and friendly too!

I’m giving Sharky’s a four based on their service and Clam Chowder, their fried food was okay, I’d say about a 3.65, I have had better in my opinion. The Clam Chowder standard over the last 20 years has become the thick verity in New England and around the country for that matter, that was not always so, the thinner soup base chowdas were the first, alas time changes many things. In this case time has brought about one of the best flavored chowders I have had anywhere it was rich, had plenty of clams and potatoes, yes those potatoes were fabulous too. The shrimp in this dish were excellent as were the clam strips both had very good flavor, I would say the Haddock was up there too but I would have appreciated a little less breading for such a delicate fish. The scallops were small not bay scallops but after you have had Niantic scallops nothing else compares though these were very tasty. The fries did not come through crispy as I had requested and next time I would have the onion rings removed as they were way over breaded. Those two missteps can not detract from an over all satisfactory experience, one I would repeat if I found myself in that area again.

Sharky’s is awesome– perfect location, nice staff, reasonable pricing. My favorite is the French fries and Mac n Cheese! My husband loved the fish there as well. Definitely a nice local feel. I highly recommend Sharky’s to everyone!

Excellent fried scallops & whole belly clams. No grit in the belly at all! Fast friendly service. Macaroni & cheese was delicious. Wish the onion rings were thicker though. Will go again for SURE!

Wow! The food was uniformly delicious! This is a small, hole in the hole type place run by a family and they definitely need to expand. We waited over half an hour to be seated because they only have about 8 tables when I’m sure they could fill 5x that many.
The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for seafood, and the portions are HUGE! I must admit that service wasn’t great, but walking in I wouldn’t have expected a 5 star dining experience.
I started with the lobster bisque which had wonderful flavor. I would have loved the lobster chunks that are advertised in the description but for $ 3.75, it was a great bang for my buck! As an entrée I had the baked stuffed haddock which was by far the best I’ve ever had. The lobster cream sauce was flavorful and rich, and the seafood stuffing was perfection. The real winner on my plate was the coleslaw! Best ever!
If you aren’t a seafood connoisseur, Sharkys burgers are great!

Went to sharky’s last saturday night, exceeded my expectations for a small restaurant this place had food of a 5 star nice dining restaurant very small dining room but look enough to get in have to wait a few minutes per table but well worth the wait, had the group would discuss with lobster and butter sauce with fresh vegetables homemade mac and cheese and put a butter pie for dessert. The prices where half of what you would expect to pay for the quality of food.
The fish was just out of the ocean fresh and grilled perfect with large chunks of lobster only 19.95 served with 2 sides and coleslaw.
