This is a neat little place. It’s always busy for weekend brunch, there’s a staircase to get to the restroom, and on a cold winter day, it’s quite cold and drafty. The service is spot on, there were no mistakes made, and the service was plenty quick given how busy they were. The food varied from good to excellent. I had the corned beef hash and vegetarian burger. I’ve had better corned beef hash in RI and MI, but I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better vegetarian burger. There’s no espresso machine, meaning no lattes, cappuccinos, etc… And they do not take Amex, which limits business lunches. But overall, I can see us coming back to this place.

Yummy and wonderfully nice waitresses! **Highly recommend the mushroom melt sandwich! ** Also, this food is pretty healthy and fresh! It’s got a nice mix of breakfast and lunch choices. I had one of their peach bellinis and thought it was way too small, but it did taste crisp and perfect.

Spoon is nestled in between several of the other shops me restaurants that make Lenox so charming. The inside is cozy, feels like home, and we were promptly greeted by the waitstaff when we walked in. They offer breakfast and lunch with everything from eggs, omelettes, sandwiches, and salads. I ordered the butternut squash soup and mushroom sandwich. The soup was served hot and tasted fresh. It needed more flavor for my taste, too bland. I would have liked some garlic, more salt, and pepper. The sandwich was served on crispy bread with melted cheese and artichoke. A smart combo. Again, it too suffered from lack of flavor. It needed a sauce of some kind, something acid to cut through the cheese(no pun intended). My husband got the pancake and fried chicken. The pancake was light and airy, a definite winner. The fried chicken? Well you can’t go wrong with that. The syrup was buttery and not overpowering. In all a major winner of a dish. So this place gets a 4.5÷5 for charm. Service was friendly. Food was great in concept with several menu items that would satisfy the hippest of hipsters. My biggest complaint was that the food lacked depth of flavor and though good, was missing something.

Amazing! Totally amazing! The food on their menu is to crave for in the mornings. Walker up early to come in late for brunch, try their fried chicken & pancakes. It’s to die for! I didn’t order it at first. Went with the egg tacos. And tasted off a guests plate. It was so good! I found space to fit it in my belly! Will go again and again. Looking forward to my next trip out to the berkshires!
