Lake Country Market & Deli

Every time we are in town visiting my parents we have to make a stop by here at least once. My youngest son would fish ²⁴⁄₇ if he was able, and we get live bait (minnows and worms) and sometimes some corn here. To my son’s disappointment, some poor, unfortunate person was so desperate that he (or she) felt the need to steal all the minnows they had out for today. As the owner said, if that person is really so bad off that he has to do that, well then, God bless him. And I have to agree. And if not, we also both agreed that karma will have its way with him at some point.
Not sure what the owner’s name is, but he is super friendly every time I’m there. We sometimes swing by for a grocery item or two when we are visiting as well. Who wants to drive all the way to town for a bag of chips or a coke? The convenience can’t be beat.

Convenient and good food fast. The owners and staff are wonderful, helpful and its always a pleasure to stop in, get gas, pizza, ice cream or beer.
