Amaaaaaazing. Cashew baklava is my fave. So is the one with pistachios on top. This place is a total gem. Do not go here if you are gluten-free(she said they have one GF option but there wasn’t any ready when I went in).

No idea how I have missed this place. I’m just grateful that I have it on my radar now. I went in today for my first visit, and I can say that I’ve never had baklava this fresh and delicious in my life. It’s a perfect example of sticking to what you do best. Nazareth Sweets has mastered baklava. That’s all they do — well, that’s what they told me today… But now I’m seeing in other reviews that they do a few other things, including Turkish Coffee. Now that’s a curiosity that I’ll have to try out. Anyway, you should go in and try a sample. You’ll walk out with a nice assortment of goodies that are sure to please. You can’t go wrong!

It has been way overdue to have a true Mediterranean Deserts Store in greater Kansas City. I wish that they will continue their success and maintain excellent product quality especially the Kenafa’s Cheese because After all Kenafa’s the best thing ever. Thank you and best of luck. I will continue recommending your place to all…

Baklava! This place does it right. Don’t limit yourself to just that though. They have plenty of authentic delicious pastries to choose from. The coffee was pretty good too, but it’s the pastries that they do exceptionally well. Grab some to go or have it right there. It’s a nice place to dine in as well.

Was looking for quick, non-fastfood meal and found an oasis of flavor. Great café and grocery nearby but the crown jewel is this bakery. I’ve had baklava from scores of bakeries in US, Europe and Middle East… Winner! Sizes variety and quality unbelievable. Took an assortment of baklava and maamul/stuffed cookies home and had my wife’s approval at first bite. Staff was engaging, knowledgeable and helpful. Great space, spotless, bright and inviting little secret. Spreading the word and hoping they keep baking for years to come.

I hate baklavas. But these are AMAZING. I don’t know how they do it but everything about it is perfect down to the walnut size. I asked the employee to fill a box with things she would recommend and I got a cashew baklava, walnut baklava, pistachio ring, and the little roll things(??) for $ 2.73. I took a bite out of everything and it was all heavenly. Service and cleanliness are wonderful. I’ll probably come back tomorrow…

This is a special occasion for me. I have never given 5 stars to any restaurant or bakery before. As I have believed that there’s always a scope for improvement. But, this place is perfect. As good as it could get. It is a nice and simple place with a welcoming ambience. As it was my first time at trying Middle Eastern sweets, I was overwhelmed with the variety offered by the bakery. However, the staff is very helpful. She went through the trouble of explaining each and every sweet and cookie. I was delighted just by looking at them and i wanted to try them all, so i bought a small pack of exotic baklavas, few mamouls(date filled cookie), and a few of snow cookies. I am missing the name of this cookie, it was small, filled with walnuts and dusted with powdered sugar. And a piece of all the Turkish sweets. Out of all these, I found the baklavas to be the best. They are crispy, savory and sweet. When i bit into it, it left a unique favor on the palate, leaving me wanting more. Also the snow cookies where good. I bought them on the advice of the staff and i didn’t regret it. It was really sweet experience and i look for more.

A very cool middle eastern sweet shop run by Palestinian owners. This place has one of the best butter cookies I have tasted ever. The friendly staff is kind to explain and they have a variety of baklawa, gaz, cookies, sweets etc etc to offer. We had some freshly baked cookies, Tip: be sure to ask for something right outta oven ! Somethings always cookin’

We were nearby & decided to stop in & give this place a try even though we are super picky when it comes to baklava. We have had some of the best in the world & always buy it to bring home when we are in Bethlehem. Well I am super happy to report… this stuff can compete! This place is seriously as good as what we bring home & they even have the warm cheesy kind we have bought there, but have never seen in KC. They also have many different kinds of nuts like almond, pistachio(my favorite), cashew, pecan & maybe walnut. I’ve had lots of baklava in KC, but always leave disappointed. You won’t leave here disappointed! Oh & they also have very good Turkish coffee! Besides having good sweets & coffee they are super friendly. We will be back! I almost forgot they do a heck of a mail order business so you can send it to your friends!

Order a kaniffeh roll — they are SO delicious! I’ll be honest, I ordered it without really knowing what it was, but I am very glad I tried it: D I’ve been here twice now, and both times the same girl has been working at the counter and she’s very prompt, helpful and personable. All of the different pastries are very tasty but I’ll be back regularly for the kaniffeh!
