Johnson County 3 and 2 Baseball Club

Huge baseball/​softball complex, serving all age levels; there’s some tiny fields for the kindergartener’s coach-​pitch games all the way up to full-​sized fields for the high school tourneys. The fields and bleachers are generally well-​maintained, bathrooms clean, concession stands well-​stocked. The field managers are friendly and helpful… most folks only see them when they need a bandaid from the first-​aid kit, but these guys are working their tails off behind the scenes to make sure everything is running smoothly, safely, and as close to on-​time as you can get with this many humans involved.
Note: There are actually two locations for 3&2. This entry pins the original fields, which are now known as the East Complex, or fields 1 – 9. Go about four or five miles west on 87^th St (which zigs into Shawnee & turns into 83^rd St) to get to the West Complex, or fields 10 – 27. You’ll see it to the north just before you cross K7.
Full disclosure: My son is an employee of 3&2, he works as an umpire. He got the job after I wrote the review, though. :-)
