High prices. And I feel like I am at a used car lot when I walk in. They don’t let me get 10 feet in the door without asking me questions. I like to browse and look around. They make me feel like I need to find something and go. Not a good way to maintain customers. And did I say expensive

Love having this place nearby. Great selection of many items that one tends to need for the house without having to travel to Lowe’s or Home Depot. Terrific customer service with the expertise to help you find and use what is in the store.

Harrisburg, PA
I wish I could give this place ten stars! It is literally my favorite store in all of Harrisburg. They are super friendly, have exactly what I need and THE PEOPLE ON HAND TO ASSIST ME IN FINDING IT unlike the box stores. They also have great, unique items like a Greek key doormat (swanky for a man like myself), Mrs. Meyers Clean Day products, k-​cups, and my favorite paints, Benjamin Moore. The team is so helpful and kind — a rarity in customer service anymore. And the location is super convenient for those in uptown Harrisburg — just a quick trip over Harvey Taylor. If you can’t tell, I can’t say enough good! I love me some Ritters!

Northvale, NJ
Went to big box store to replace glass that broke out of light fixture in closet. They suggested that it would be easier to purchase a new light fixture for $ 29,97 than to replace glass. Next went to Ritters. They measured, cut glass to size and put in in the fixture all with a pleasant demeanor. Cost $ 3.79 plus tax no charge for custom cutting and putting it into the fixture. Also had 3 people try to help me on a Saturday afternoon. I am only going there from now on!

I am a BIG fan of this store, It is clean and convenient. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. You might pay a few cents more than at the big box store but the experience and convenience is worth it. They also send coupons on a regular basis-​BONUS!
