Grove Shoe Repair

Meh. They were two days late getting my shoes back to me and it’s kinda a shoddy job but I technically only need to wear them one time so I should be good. The lady in the front is good at complimenting customers.

Never ever going here again. The owners are unfriendly and unhelpful and unprofessional. They are disorganized and take such a long time to do any repairs — I had to give him more than one week to do «repairs» on boots. And the result was mediocre at best. I could have done the same thing at home with the right products. Not to mention, it was overpriced -$ 28 to fix some scuff marks. The boots look OK but not much different than before.
I also brought in a small suitcase that needed a new zipper. He said he could do it. I came back over a week later (the exact date that he wrote on my ticket) and it wasn’t even finished so I had to come back… only to see that he didn’t replace the zipper at all. He just fixed the kinks on the existing one — he didn’t do what I asked for and never said anything about doing the «repair» this way.
Don’t go here and waste your money — and time. If I could give zero stars, I would.

I was happy with the repair of my two shoes. The attention to detail in workmanship in the repair was worth the reasonable price. They get an extra star for my same day service. Grove Shoe Repair has really cute handbags.
