Four star, because I almost never give five, and because I prefer a thinner chip. That said, this is the finest chili verde I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot, in restaurants across the country; it’s one of my go-to’s, and a test of whether I will come back. The pork had a hint of char, and would have been delightful even without the outstanding verde sauce, which added the right amount of spice and delightful flavor. The beans were typical, and the rice was better than average. Service was quick, efficient, and pleasant. The place also appears family friendly, as the staff tolerated a couple of runaway toddlers with aplomb. The restaurant was recommended to me by the front desk at the Hatfield Inn, for which I am grateful. It’s unfortunate that I probably will not be back, as I’m just passing through on a vacation trip. But this one goes in my best Mexican meals memory book!

If only I could give zero stars… The worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. The guacamole turned black before we even finished our tacos… And when we stirred it, it was green again. I only hope I was the first to have it, that day. Please. Save yourself the stomach ache, and the price, and go to Taco Bell. You’ll thank me.

Very courteous staff. Food is pretty good. I hand the fajita chimichanga and it was tasty. Not sure it was worth $ 10 though.
