Brookside Package Store

Very disappointed. I stopped into this store to purchase a drink. They were located right by the door which is incredibly convenient and nice and cold. I grabbed a soda and when the person working the counter saw I was using a credit card they told me they would not ring me out for just a soda on my card. Legally they CAN do this thanks to the Frank-​Dodd act but with so many people not carrying cash, it really doesn’t make sense. As I always attempt to support local business, I stopped here for my soda instead of one of the chain convenience stores… sadly, it was a waste of time. Cumberland Farms was more than happy to accept my card for my purchase. This was the first and only time for me here.

The neighborhood liquor store! Always friendly, good selection of liquor and it has the lottery. Not much else to say!

I love this place. The prices are reasonable and they always have what I need. Sonny is the owner and works with his son Harry and wife. These guys are cool guys and always nice. They also help me out with stuff till payday-​thanks guys.
