I was passing through Leighton on my way to a kayak trip and saw the sign for 14 acre. Figured I’d give it a whirl. Rosemary, the lady of the place, rang me up… I got the iced maple coffee, potatoes, and a bacon egg and cheese with avocado on a english muffin. Delicious all the way around! The coffee was something sweet and unexpected and the variety of hot sauces(lots of heat) made it a great breakfast experience. I’d highly suggest you swing on by next time you’re in town!

I make sure to get here every time I pass through town. Farm to table food, homemade drinks, desserts, breads, and prepared dinners in the cooler. Quality and freshness cannot be beat anywhere, let alone in this area. A true diamond in the coal region. Owners are on site and pay attention to details. Do yourself a favor and make a trip.

Stopped in at 14 Acre Farm’s new shop on South First Street in Lehighton for breakfast, and ended up getting a bunch of goodies for later on. Everything looks so good! Mostly baked goods in the AM, but then they had different kinds of amazing-looking salads for lunch. So they’ll make you breakfast or lunch, and it all looked great. I had some kind of tart-looking thing for breakfast — it was a cup/shell of dough, like a pie crust almost, with a nice portion of fruit filling inside. Strawberry and blueberry, I believe, and it was heavenly. And big — I didn’t need anything else with it. Although I did also buy cookies and other treats for later, which were also good! Can’t wait to try some of their other stuff! The place is not real fancy, and you might miss it if you’re not looking for it, although they did just get a nice new sign out front. Note that First Street is one-way through town, and you can park on either side of the street.
