Springhill Suites by Marriott

This hotel is about average. Nothing really stood out. The room was reasonably clean. The free breakfast comprises the standard fare. There is only one elevator so getting up and down can be slow. The staff are reasonably polite and friendly. The only negative is the very poor sound insulation between rooms – you can hear a lot of noise, just even the sound of people walking around, in the rooms next door.
In summary, I would not mind staying here again, but I would be tempted to try other options.

I wish I could give zero stars for this hotel. Each night we stayed in the hotel we were harassed by the night worker, Andrew. We blocked rooms for our wedding and decided to spend some time in our room with our family from out of town. We were called by the desk clerk for a noise complaint. We complied and moved to the back of our room and were quietly conversing with our out of town guests. Andrew called and aggressively told us to pack our bags and leave or we could be escorted out. My husband tried reasoning with him and he made my husband verbally state to all our guests that the «party was over and everyone needs to leave.» He also told us that he would be coming to OUR room to check if anyone was in there. It’s an invasion of privacy. When he came up he said there were complaints that we were drinking alcohol. I said we are allowed to drink alcohol in our room and he stated that he’s complaining about the alcohol. Then on our wedding night, our brother came with his child to say goodnight and Andrew walked by and told us that he was going to call the police to have us escorted out. My husband and I were the only people in the room. I am so disappointed with the service we received and suggest no one stays here until Andrew is removed.

I have stayed here many times over the past 5 years and I am never disappointed. The rooms are large and clean. You can’t beat the location, right next to Thanksgiving Point. Every time I stay there are new businesses going up around so there are plenty of restaurants close by. The breakfast is great. as well. I always enjoy my stays here.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Rooms are large and clean. The staff is pretty helpful and accommodating. The continental breakfast is the usual kind you’d find at any other hotel. Fridge and microwave are great for longer stays. It’s located next to a small plaza with a couple of restaurants, cinema, a museum and some shops. Great location for families with kids. Gym and pool are very small and there’s no room service which are all things we generally use when staying at a hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Great price and great hotel. Pretty hotel, clean, and staff is friendly and helpful. Thanksgiving Point is directly next door. Huge fireworks display for 4^th of July you can see from hotel back deck. Recommended!!!

Very clean and very new with big televisions and comfortable beds, a wet bar w/​a microwave. Right off of the 15 but some ways from the city and a little tricky to get right to the hotel off of the freeway. That said, if the weather’s good a trip to SLC is pretty quick and the area around the hotel is new so as it develops perhaps getting her will be a little easier (they’re fixin’ to put in a Courtyard next door).
This place is way convenient for access to Adobe and Ebay-​some other high tech companies as well. Breakfasts are free and but for the most part it’s just not very good. Fine for an apple etc but don’t go near the formed meat or eggs – they look dicey! work out room is small w/​1 treadmill, 1 bike and 1 elliptical-that’s it. Not crowded during my visit so no worries. Great dock for iPhone and desk for working.
Newspaper and coffee available in the a.m.-Nice. You’ll enjoy this place.

This was a very clean, beautiful hotel. The location was perfect. The only problem was that the pool was extra small.

Made another weekend visit, and although the hotel is still wonderful, this stay was not as good because of the traffic. Too many people with too many children. No private time in the pool, and the included buffet breakfast, again tasty, but no where to sit. I filled a plate and took it back to my room. Note: great place to stay but beware as it is popular. I think this was the first weekend of the Tulip Festival.

I booked this hotel last minute for a trip we took out to Utah. I ended up having to cancel the last two nights of my reservation due to a change in plans. However, the staff was very helpful and easy going. They let me change my reservations without hesitation or cost. The room was clean and updated with a nice TV. It was easy to check in to the hotel late at night. The location was not a residential area and felt very safe. Parking was fairly easy and seemed secure since the access into the lot required you to go around the back. It’s not much on views or anything flashy, but for the price, its a safe bet. If I need a hotel the next time I’m out there I will look to book here first unless I’m planning on spending more time in the city. The city is about 25 minutes away. Also, they have government and special rates so check if that applies to you.
