Where to begin. Called a couple local plumbing companies. That where tagged as good on Unilocal to address a few things at the home I’m renting. Schoonover plumbing had 5 stars from 1 review. The scheduler was very friendly. They could get someone out the next day. I needed to have a few things done such as slow draining sinks, replace a couple facets, a leaky toilet, a leaky dishwasher and a couple shut offs that had where binding and needed replaced. On an upstairs toilet the plumber dispatched replaced the wax ring that didn’t need to be replaced.(I said I thought that was the issue.) My fault for saying I thought it was the problem. He later said the problem was the tank seal. The smell was mold in the sub floor. He then replaced the toilet internals. The home owner had put a high flow in a low flow toilet. Each task took many trips up and down the stairs. He was so slow and disorganized. It was very apparent I was paying by the hour. The other tasks where equally slow. I got less than a third of the items addressed for the max estimate($ 200) my landlord agreed to pay. They went $ 30 over and left the removed parts and misc scum for my wife to clean up. All the work was very basic. I’m not plumber and I could have done all tasks quicker. At $ 100 got the first hour and $ 75 for the second. I would avoid. Eric

I’m very impressed with Schoonover Plumbing. From the beginning they were very kind and upfront. Chris, the person that quickly came out, was honest and knowledgeable about how to repair our kitchen disposal. He then said, «you have me for an hour» and asked if he could look at any other issues there were in our home. Within the hour he fixed both bathroom sink drains, the broken bath drain, and the complex leaking shower head all for the cost others plumbers said they would repair only the disposal for. Thank you Schoonover!
