Authentic really yummy Thai food. The Feng shui really really relaxing comfortable like if your mom and dad own a restaurant that’s how they will set it up service very very good service and everything was just delightful. The seafood plate oh my God was just amazing it will have you thinking about it days after eating it

In my humble opinion this is the best restaurant in Leesville, LA when it comes to taste and the freshness of the food. I was in the area for about a month and we kept going back to this restaurant. The prices are average and the restaurant itself is not modern but the food is great.

Way too expensive for what the quantity and mediocre taste. I’d recommend getting the cheapest because it will be good and you won’t feel robbed.

Authentic Thai hole-in-the-wall place. Restaurant is owned by Thailand natives. Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai at a medium heat level. Everything was cooked to perfection, from the chicken to the tofu to the eggs to the noodles. Food also had a nice kick to it, so be careful at which level you order. I’m used to super spicy stuff but the medium was just right for me. I will definitely come back here if I have to come back to Leesville.

Insanely good. I’ve been to Thailand twice and this is the closest to the food there of any Thai place I’ve been to in the US.

Probably the best thai food I’ve ever had in my life! Ever since I left leesville I’ve been trying to find thai as good as Thadapetch… Hasn’t happened 5 years later. The freshest food in town as well! Try it!

Pad Ke Mow is delicious. Food is very authentic. The owner Sam is super friendly. He remembered me from over five years ago, I live in Michigan. Portions are very generous.

I always have a good meal and fast service. A great spot to stop for a quick bite and a Thai iced tea.

Went to the restaurant for the first time and I thought that the food tasted great. That being said, the guy was nice and friendly, but the lady that works there kinda had a negative vibe around her and I got the feeling that she didn’t want to be bothered. Also, when the food was being ordered, it was very surprising to pay $ 14.99 for one meal and $ 9.99 for another and neither meal did not come with rice, which has to be ordered separately at $ 1 per person. Additionally, the portions of the items without the rice were medium sized. I like thai tea and I guess she got offended that I told her not to put too much ice in the cup(but with the notice that there was no free refills and the drink was $ 2 each, can you REALLY blame ME for asking for there to not be too much ice? The food was good, but expensive. I know Thai food can be on the pricey side, but geeze. I don’t blame the other person in the comment section about feeling a little robbed. That was my experience.

This is a Leesville LA five star review. I will definitely be back. Chicken satay, prawns in a blanket, pla-meuk tod were all good. Not knock your socks off good, but quite good. Gaeng ped yaang red curry duck hot was delicious and actually hot. My wife liked her yellow curry chicken. We’ll try noodle dishes next time. Family-run local restaurant serving straight up good Thai food. Great with three feisty toddlers. Not a fancy spot in the Days Inn building, but if you want fancy you’re probably not looking for it around here anyway. Enjoy– I know we will again!

Best Thai Food on the planet. The only reason I would ever go back to Leesville ever. Since I left out of town, never found a place as good as them. Very sad. Wish they would franchise every where. That might be very bad for my wallet but my taste buds would have a party. Thank you.

Authentic as I’ve seen anywhere. I usually get the papaya salad. It’s solid. Their heat levels are pretty inconsistent though. There are days when ‘hot’ is comfortably warm and others when hot melts metal. The sticky rice helps put out the fire.

I make sales calls in town every couple months and this is my go to place for dinner. Their food is amazing. The quality is always superior. The portions are generous and I always leave happy. My favorite is #45 with red snapper spicy! It’s a must try if you like white fish. You can ask for mild of you aren’t one for spice but personally I go for spicy.

Without a doubt, the best Thai food you will find in Leesville. Sure, there may not be many other options, but Tha Da Petch will not disappoint. The cooking is authentic, quick and hot(when required). The cook will spice the food to order. And«Thai Hot» truly is… Pricing is as expected for Leesville. Very casual atmosphere. Large space in the back for a meeting, hail/farewell, etc.

Brother ain’t even Thai! Food is just average for Asian /Thai cuisine. Really, there are much better places elsewhere for less $$. But, it is bloody Leesville, so one has to settle. So, this place is a short-term fix until we get evacuated back to civilization… aka anywhere other than Louisiana. And the portions are weak. $ 12.00 for a small plate of Pad Thai. In Houston, a similar sized plate would be $ 7. Left feeling a bit robbed. In summary, set your expectations LOW, and be ready to stop for a snack or dessert afterwards.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant twice now. The food has always been impeccable. Like some of the other reviewers have said, if you aren’t sure how spicy of food you can eat, get the owner to explain if you can. Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee are two of the best beverage choices. Now, why did I rate it only three stars? The owner and his wife have this attitude. They are not pleasant to deal with overall. They often seem annoyed, even if you are the only people in the restaurant. They almost seem jaded. It’s the South; show some hospitality. We are often not greeted when we come in, as others may be. Just overall I was disappointed in the service.

WOW!!! Thadapetch is f’n awesome!!! Having been to Thailand twice, I consider myself to be a bit of a Thai food connoisseur. Thadapetch is operated by a couple that is from Thailand, therefore the dishes are quite authentic. I tried the tom yum talay, which was properly served in a hot pot. Flavor was spot on, and they didn’t skimp on the seafood. I also got an order of pad see ew, and that was also just perfect. Leesville is kind of far from home, but this place is so good I would make the 45 minute drive just to eat here; it’s that good!

Being the only Thai restaurant in town this place definitely cornered the market. The downside to that is that there’s no other Thai place to compare the food here with. I’m visiting from Los Angeles and had Thai food 3 times this week. I can understand why many others give this place 5 stars, but I have to be honest, I gave this place 3 stars for 2 reasons. #1 I paid $ 14(after tax and tip) for an unsatisfying dish of Pad Kee Mao. #2 The portions weren’t as big as I’m accustomed to and it was just way too salty and had a strange sauce that I normally don’t find in this dish. However, given the fact that no competition exists in this area and when you have a Thai fix, this is the only place to satisfy that desire. I also tried the Thai Fried Rice and thought it was pretty decent. It was definitely better with a bit of spice and also with some of the Thai chilis in fish sauce. The Thai coffee was also spot on. Overall, I think the portions can be a bit bigger. Most of the folks at our table went home wanting more food, and when you’re paying $ 12 – 14 for dishes like Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and any of the curries, I expect to go home satiated. However, the excessive saltiness and steep prices bring my score down a point each. For the money, I think I’d rather go to Buffet City just up the street for my fill of Asian food.
