the heart attack burger with an over easy egg is a must when you come here with a side of Mac n cheese

Was recommended to try this restaurant, and it was okay. The staff was friendly, but I wasn’t too impressed with the food. I ordered a hamburger and it was just a little to greasy for my liking. Husband didn’t seem too impressed with his food and he’s very easy to please. We will give it another shot and hopefully it will be better than last time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! Also, I think that it is VERY awesome that for their regulars they have special cups for them. My boyfriend and I loved the food and will be back again! Also the prices are very reasonable! My boyfriend and I both ate and it was under $ 10! You cant beat that!

Breakfast sandwiches. Hangover food. Nice ladies with southern accents serving hot dishes straight out of the deep fryer. This place would have a four of it was open 24 hrs like the sign outside falsely advertised. This place is my guilty pleasure. It’s good any time of day, but I’m a fan of breakfast & coffee & I haven’t been disappointed yet.

I really don’t understand how anyone could give this place more than two stars at most. I thought the breakfast was pretty bad until I bit into my omelet, then it got terrible. They use kraft singles as cheese in the omelets. The rest of it was bland and unseasoned, I will never go there again. Like most of leesville, this place would close if any competition moved in.

We’ve been here a few times for breakfast and never been disappointed. Wait staff is always friendly. Place is small and quaint. Pancakes are really good. Been told they serve breakfast all day. No complaints and will definitely go back again!

A run of the mill«greasy spoon,» BJ’s turns on the charm with Southern hospitality and low prices. The food quality is usually pretty good, although you can tell the difference between the cooks. Granted, it has been a year since we left Fort Polk, but BJs was our last stop out of town, if only to bookmark the countless times we sat at the counter over the previous year.

This is the place you want to come back to every day. The food is just more than good, its excellent. The prices are reasonable and you have to get Cheryl to wait on you. She is just the absolute best. I hope the people who own this place know what a jewel they have in her. She found out we just moved to the area and she gave us all kinds of helpful advice. Their pancakes are made from scratch, no mix here. If you are truly hungry, get the big burger…10 ounces of great beef, hand formed and cooked to order. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. This is our new favorite place, worth the 17 mile drive from DeRidder to Leesville!

Since there’s no Denny’s or Waffle House in town, this place seems to fit the bill for a greasy spoon. It’s a pretty simple diner, but fits the bill. I had the Shrimp po’ boy and it’s the first time I had one of these in several years so to me tasted pretty decent. Being from California, I’ve missed my veggies, so I ordered a side of house salad. I really wish they used romain or some other kind of lettuce besides iceberg, but they use iceberg in all their stuff. I guess I really can’t expect too much though. One plus for this diner is that they have some pretty decent wifi. There aren’t too many public sit-down places here in Leesville with decent wifi so I was pleasantly surprised to see a wifi signal here. I can definitely see myself working here on a project late at night and enjoying a cup of joe and doing stuff on my laptop. I also got an apple pie ala mode for dessert. The pie was decent but they slapped on soft serve ice cream on top which I’m not too much a fan of. A nice scoop of vanilla ice cream would’ve been awesome. For this town, the prices here seem pretty reasonable. I seem to find that I’m spending about $ 10 – 14 for every dinner. For my po’ boy, salad, and dessert, my total came out to $ 14 with tip. The service was pretty prompt and the lady serving us was nice. No complaints here. Bottom line: If you need a place to sit down and work on some stuff and need internet access and have Verizon as your phone carrier, this is the place to chill and enjoy some greasy food.

For a greasy spoon, it was tasty. Cheap prices, friendly service, clogged arteries. That’s not saying I wouldn’t go back, though. I had the cheeseburger with onion rings, and I think my bill came to under $ 6. The burger was good, without that filler taste so many commercial burgers have. It tasted like real beef. The onion rings were pre-fab frozen, but didn’t taste bad. It was about what you would expect for a 24 hour diner.

Average diner food. Pancakes are good and omelets are cheesy but there wasn’t any real«wow factor.» On the plus side, it’s open 24 hours.

Been eaten here so long we know everyone. Great food. My son thinks that next to me, they make the BEST pancakes! Only 24 hour restaurant in Leesville and have one of the best breakfast line ups in town. Daily Lunch Specials. Sell local Jellies and Jams. Toups family believes in community and supporting the troops. 2 thumbs up for those reasons alone. Add in that they have good food and I’ll have to add a toe too.

In short, it is a grease pit. There is a massive accumulation of grease under the grill area that is never cleaned, just hidden from view most of the time. The food was also subpar the few times that I’ve been there.
