Not going back. Save your money and look elsewhere. I took my family there this weekend for some Chinese food. The place seems to operate more as a carry out than an eat-in restaurant, which is fine. But I found the place disorganized and messy. A few plastic utensils and napkins were put out, but not enough to cover a table let alone the whole place. No sugar or sweetener or even sauces available, save for 2 or 3 of the single pack hot sauce, the super cheap variety that will outlast every living being. All of that you can easily overlook if they serve good food. But sadly this isn’t the case here. We ordered the beef with broccoli and general t’Sao chicken and some steamed dumplings. The dough on the steamed dumplings was thick and greasy and the dumplings cold. They were bland, but at least you could force yourself to eat it. The other two dishes we could barely eat. The meat was of cheap cuts of beef and covered with a dark gooey sauce, the broccoli was overcooked. Truly I could take no more than a bite or two, and the rest went into the trash. Total cost over $ 40.

I wish I could give this place more than five stars. Even though I live about 40 minutes away, I’ve heard amazing things about Wei’s Garden even from people in my area, so I knew I had to give it a try. The trek was well worth it. Eating at Wei’s Garden was more than just great Chinese food — it felt like eating a meal with family. The owners are the kindest people you’ll ever meet and they go out of their way to make you feel extra welcome. And of course, their food is fantastic as well. I went with a couple friends and we had the crab rangoons(excellent), egg rolls, General Tso’s chicken, kung pao chicken, beef lo mein, and Singapore noodles. I’d recommend all of them, but I gotta say that this place has a KILLER General Tso’s chicken. Trust me — I’m Asian, I take my General Tso’s very seriously. Very generous portion sizes, seasoned to perfection, always steaming hot and fresh… I cannot praise their food enough. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by Wei’s Garden! TL;DR: Amazing food, even better service. General Tso’s chicken or bust. If you’re lucky, you might get to meet Wei himself.

I used to order from these guys however the last few times have been very disappointing. Delivery time was extremely slow and the gentleman who answered the phone was extremely rude. I had trouble understanding him and he literally screamed at me saying … I said we no delivery today!!! Sorry I only asked to order believe me there are many places to order from. The food used to be really good but lately hasn’t been

Pretty bad. Was expecting it to be good but it just wasn’t. Ordered the moo shu chicken, Singapore rice noodles, chicken lo mien, and steamed veggies plus spring rolls. The spring rolls were fine but they took a while too come and they came after all the entrees came out. Weird, usually those are the first out. The Singapore rice noodles tasted like cinnamon(a strange sweet taste) this dish also had shrimp and chicken. The shrimp was alright but the chicken was way too chewy. The moo shu chicken was just gross. Never seen moo shu chicken like the way it was prepared tonight. Looked awful, way too mushy, taste; again with the weird cinnamon taste. Both bad. The chicken lo mien was alright and the steamed veggies were fine, but how can you mess that up? Also this place is way overpriced. Almost $ 40 for terrible food? Um no thanks. Service was nice and friendly though. Food wise, the food is bad. Don’t waste your money. I don’t think even Chinese people would eat here. Yucky. Will not be coming back.

My husband ordered here for the first time tonight and got his usual orange chicken. He really liked and I’ll be having the left overs for lunch tomorrow. Great portion. And he really liked the lady who took his order. She was very personable and knew he was a new customer right away. We will definitely check me back to try more!

Growing up, having a ginormous bag of Chinese take-out for dinner was a weekly occurrence, so in a way, this is like comfort food to me. Several weeks ago we ordered a very large bag of miscellaneous food(pu pu platter, sweet and sour combo, fried rice and soup), and everything was delicious. So I decided to check them out for a few party trays. I don’t think they do party trays very often, but they were more than willing to prepare them. Again, everything was a hit(ordered dumplings, General Tso’s tofu, and Szechuan string beans), and I even got some people to not dislike tofu :) The owners are absolutely wonderful people and we will definitely be back again and again!

By far the best Chinese place in Leesburg! Delivery took a little long, just over an hour, but we had a big order. However, everything we got was delicious. Orange Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, steamed pork dumplings, and crab rangoon. All good. So much better than the other places in the area. We will be ordering again.

The food is good but don’t do delivery… I’ve been waiting for over an hour. Update — so the food came 1.5 hours later and I was told if you would have picked it up it would have been faster… obviously but delivery when you are less than 1 mile from my house shouldn’t take that long. I asked for a credit and was told no you can just give the food back. I love supporting small business but in this instance I will never order here again. They were terrible.

Easily the best Chinese in leesburg. The dumplings are awesome and I order my chinese based on dumplings. If you order by phone, the people speak better english than most Caucasian folk, very friendly and custom orders are a breeze. I hope this place does well because until now, I ordered my chinese food from Ashburn for the past 8 – 9 years because there was no solid chinese place in leesburg. Sure a good meal here or there but when you order chinese, everything should be good, every time!

I’m not sure if this was an off night, but I was very disappointed with what they served as crispy beef. It was not at all crispy, mushy would be more accurate. And the slightly sweet black tar they poured over the soggy beef was not particularly enjoyable either. It had a bit of a burnt taste. I will have to agree the service was polite, but the food was poor.

Wei’s Garden tugs at the heartstrings. They are the nicest people in the Town of Leesburg, but their food is so hit or miss that I can’t decide if I love it or not. I’m a huge fan of anything that contains chicken and spices, so naturally I’m attracted to things like Hunan Chicken and General Tso’s Chicken. Don’t waste your time with the Hunan Chicken, it’s very bland and spiceless. The General Tso’s Chicken is quite good, though. I’m not sure if I want to chance another terrible meal, but their staff are so pleasant and always brighten my day whenever I talk with them.

I still haven’t found a place that has a better Chicken in garlic sauce or chicken dumplings! I crave this place all the time. Everyone there is very friendly.

The shrimp toast here is a must, one of the best I’ve had very clean looking with lots of shrimp paste .the egg rolls are Mushy inside, Poorly executed. The beef and broccoli was good, has that PF Changs Mongolian beef texture crispy. the Kung pow chicken was good crispy. stay away from the lo mien, it’s awful I’ve had better at buffets. The shrimp fried rice lacked flavor, I’ve been there twice and at each meal I accompanied the meal with fried rice or lo mein but was disappointed those guys are essential.

I’m a little addicted to this place… especially the sweet and sour chicken. It’s not the best place and not the worse. Delivery is SUPER slow so I’d rather just go get it, but it is fast, decent quality and I’m ashamed to say I’ve been here several times. Lunch prices are good to

I really hate to write bad reviews. I really like going to the small mom and pop shops. Anyhow, I went in on Chinese New Year. The place didn’t seem busy, there was only one family eating there and another had come in later. Maybe they had lots of phone orders or deliveries or cooking for a big party. Not really sure, because I waited for what seemed like an eternity for our dinner. I didn’t see anybody come in to pick up the food or see any food go out for delivery. So maybe an off day, who knows. Anyhow, I first came here when the first opened up a few years ago. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Chicken and Snow Peas, Combo Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls. The food finally came out, about 45 – 50 minutes later. I only live about 5 – 10 minutes from the restaurant. When I got home, the food wasn’t even super hot. Looks like some of food sat out while others were being cooked. The hot and sour soup was decent, but pretty bland. Sad thing is, this was the best dish of the night. The egg rolls were bland and had no flavor. The Kung Pao Chicken was very dry and was super sweet. Must have used lots of hoisen and or plumb sauce. While the were cooking I noticed that they deep fried the meat first. That is a one technique, but not my thing. I don’t like my Kung Pao crunchy. I will give them credit for not putting veggies in it. The other strange thing was, they didn’t cook the peanuts with the chicken. They just put the peanuts on top of the chicken and closed the container. The Chicken and Snow Peas were bland, the chicken was tender though. The sauce had no flavor to it. If you are use to having Chicken and Snow Peas in white sauce, you have to ask for it. I didn’t and it cooked in a brown sauce. The Combo Fried Rice was very dry. The rice was very clumped together and just tasted like soy sauce. All the meats were dry. I hoped for something good from this place. The first time I went, I thought it was o.k. Maybe I’ll go back in a few months to see if things have changed.

After an afternoon of shopping at Leesburg Outlet*, my sister and I were HUNG-RAY! If you’ve ever been there, it’s quite a bit of walking and navigating the cluttered aisles of each store. Normally, I don’t eat Chinese. It’s just not as vegetarian-friendly or «robust» as Thai. But, there’s nothing good to eat around the Outlet. If you’re into the fast-food and casual mega-chains, then you’re in for a treat. We needed good food, fast. and must be near the Outlet. I found positive reviews on Wei’s Garden. They didn’t have a menu online(now there’s an image of half the menu available on Google), so it was a risk. I hate not knowing what to order or what’s on the menu. With my sister’s impeccable driving skills(you know this is sarcasm because we’re both Asian women), we eventually found the restaurant after numerous turns and confusion. It is located off the beaten path in a large new office building. The place is really clean(compared to the muckfest that is Chicago and other big city’s Chinese restaurant). I was relieved to find several vegetarian-friendly dishes. My sister, a staunch omnivore(which is very unfortunate), is a little obsessed with Americanized food so she ordered General Tso’s Chicken. I had the Kung Pao with tofu substitute. My sister thoroughly enjoyed her dish(although there should’ve been more broccoli), and I was content with mine. Not the best Kung Pao, but far. far. from the worse. With a cold can of Dr. Pepper and crispy vegetable eggroll, my tummy was super happy. I totally belched a bitch one a la Homer Simpson after a Duff Beer chug. The reason why I’m giving Wei’s Garden five stars is the the service my sister and I received. A small Chinese family runs this restaurant. The wife is one of the most pleasant restaurant owners we’ve met. She’s an unintrusive conversationalist, if that makes sense. Her young daughter is super cute.(Aren’t all Asian kids?) We felt like valued patrons, which is not a common feeling at Chinese restaurants. To sum up: Good food. Cheap prices. Friendly owner. = Worth visiting. * = For the love all of all things holy, DON’T GOON A SATURDAY. YOUWILLREGRETIT!
