After a buddy told me about an experience he had a few weeks ago with his rear dérailleur cable breaking during a Saturday group ride; I had to check them out. Not to mentioned they are an authorized Cervelo dealer(bonus!) since I was in search for my first road bike and they happen to have the exact model I was looking for. Long story short — I am a proud new owner of a Cervelo bike! My shopping experience was extremely exceptional and painless! Yes it is a little out of my way coming from Reston but you can’t beat customer satisfaction. Thank you Alex and of course Joshua for the welcoming treatment received at your store! Now on to racking up some road miles!

This place is fantastic. Didn’t even know it was here. Can be hard to spot by car, but luckily it’s right off the W&OD. I don’t have to go all the way out to Trail’s End in Purcellville anymore: P Great folks, they’ve come out to eat at Market Burger where I work across the street from Catoctin Creek Distillery. Stop in and see what’s going on, they’re very friendly.

Yes, the reviews are true. 5 stars! Seriously what a great store. They are a little far for me, but I think worth the trip once in a while when you’re in need of some tri gear. I originally found out about them when I went for their introduction to tri session(freeeee!!!) and I learned so much. They also have a bike repair class that I really should go to.

Steve, Alex and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable about triathlon and its disciplines. Also if you simply a runner, cyclist or swimmer they can help you with all the equipment you might need. Great place!

Stopped in the store for some shoes. Nice little shop. Very friendly employees. They only carry Newton running shoes so they dont have a selection of brands if that is what youre looking for but Newtons are great shoes. Nice store.

I went to transition triathlon today to get an outfit for my first sprint triathlon that’s coming up in a couple weeks. I was very nervous going into tri store but the staff were very friendly and approachable.

Transition Triathlon is THE place to go for all of your swim, bike, and run needs! The owners, Alex and Steve, are passionate about the sport of triathlon. The reasons to shop there are: 1) they have everything you need for run, bike, and swim; 2) they really know their products and can make personalized recommendations based on your size, experience, budget, etc…; 3) their prices are competitive; and 4) they are super nice and helpful. Be sure to check out their free clinics on intro to Triathlon and bike maintenance every month. They are located just off the W&OD bike trail in Old Town Leesburg — a great location! I just completed my first triathlon and they were a tremendous help in providing tips and making gear recommendations. I love the convenience of one-stop shopping for my Tri needs combined with great customer service!

Situated in Old Town Leesburg, this place is off the main road. They have a fairly large triathlon selection as well as yoga apparel. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. With the Internet, it’s easy to compare similar brands that they have in-store and see the extreme cost difference; it’s so hard for specialty athletic stores to do well these days. There’s not many triathlon-specific stores, so if your in the area and looking to physically see products, this is the place to go.

I found the best place that fits both my needs and my shopping style. This place is the best! As you may know from my previous reviews, customer service matters above all else. I like people that make you feel welcome(without being overbearing!), and are knowledgeable about running, biking, and swimming individually, or in the sense of a triathlon. The folks at TT hit all the marks and have a neighborhood type environment going on as well. You can tell by all the folks coming in off the nearby trail and the use of first names. They know their customers. The folks at TT have professionally assisted me in finding the right gear for the right event, have significantly impacted my thoughts on nutrition, have provided training on Newton running, and bicycle maintenance training. They are really well rounded. If you’re in to Running, Biking and Swimming, I highly recommend you hit this shop. You won’t be disappointed!

As triathlons began gaining popularity, I was wondering as to when Leesburg would get a store and tri club. Sure enough… Transition Triathlon popped up and it couldn’t be better. They offer great advice on all the products they sell and even some that they don’t. They’re well-versed in the bike industry and are happy to share their knowledge. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a bike, gps watch, running shoes, etc. A great place for all swimming, biking and running needs.

Transition Triathlon occupies the space of the former Gallery 222 on South King St. The transformation inside, from a rabbit’s warren of artists’ nooks and crannies to an open and inviting retail space with a huge training room is pretty incredible. What’s also incredible are how immediately friendly, helpful, and supremely knowledgable the proprietors are. In a few short minutes, we had gone through several running shoe varieties, discussed what was suitable for specific running styles, looked over a few bike frames, were given a tour of the workout room, got to meet«Critter», and were on our way with some great purchases and and a smile. This is how shopping in a small town is supposed to be and these guys really know their business. If you run, bike, or swim(or all three) anywhere in Loudoun Co., you should give them a look.
