We stopped in for a lite linch. Couldn’t have picked a better spot. The owner Hostess met us at the door and thanked us for coming. The waitress Sarah couldn’t have been nicer or more knowledgeable . I really appreciate it when a server answers«Thank you» with«my Pleasure» We have been here before and we will definitely be back. Oh by the way the food was great too!

Glad we gave Sip a 2nd chance Hostess, server, food & entertainment great. Everyone had different entrée choices & were happy with their choice. We were there Sat June 4 with 6:30 reservation seated immediately. They serve wine & beer no liquor. Forgot to mention our server Chelsea was great.

Very cozy place in the heart of the«new» downtown Leesburg. Great ambiance, tasteful food, but not enough craft beer but they are working on that. Very friendly staff!

this was a great concept. it really was. but the emphasis on the night life is way out of proportion to the restaurant. durning the day, the emphasis needs to rest towards«restaurant». that means turn the damn lights off the stage! waiters weren’t very knowledgeable about the menu, or were they very attentive. every dish we were served was cold. panini, cold. BBQ pork, cold. muscles, cold.(I can’t believe they served us cold shellfish and didn’t offer anything when it was brought up to our waiter.) flat bread, cold. on our way out, another table stopped us to ask how our meal was, we replied truthfully, and they whole heartedly agreed. their food was cold too. I really do believe this place has potential, but they have some work to do.

Made reservations for 7:15 on a Saturday night. Arrived on time and was promptly seated. Then waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged by our server, who took our order of wine and 2 salads. She came back a few minutes later with our wine, and then disappeared for the next 45MINUTES. We decided we would just leave, and hunted down the hostess to get our check. She made sure to let us know that it wasn’t their fault(?) and that the kitchen was just really backed up. However, in the 45 minutes we were sitting there waiting for salad we did not see but one order come out of the kitchen. Also, the owner was just standing around by the entrance all night. Maybe you should consider going back and getting a grip on the apparent mutiny that just transpired in your kitchen? Other than that, the music was decent, and the glass of wine I had was decent. But I will not be returning. I felt like I was an extra in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares.

Finally… a nice place in Leesburg. I visited here for the first time a few weeks ago, and i was throughly impressed. The décor is beautiful. The staff very friendly and accommodating. And lastly the menu had a nice selection with lots of variety. I didn’t make it into the music room.. but it sounded like they were having a good time in there. I will definately make this a regular spot.

As always the owners go above and beyond. The roast turkey, Granny Smith apple, Brie panini was amazing! Four of us had the scallop ceviche… we all loved it, although 3 pieces of the bread was not enough. We ate it without bread, as it was just amazing and too good to waste! Lisa is beyond amazing, as always! Thanks Ben and Anita! Thanks to my friends… tried some new/interesting wines tonight! I may have a new fav! Bobbie Blackman was the entertainment on another evening and he is very good as well. Ben and Anita provide only the BEST entertainment!

Sips is an awesome TOTAL experience… we were there last Friday and had a great appetizer(great clams) and awesome flat breads. The entertainment Richie«Q» Quarantello was New Orleans at it’s best… Great Jazz, blues, Sinatra, and then fit right in with the Blues Brothers who showed up later. Richie was the star of the night. The owners took time to check in and the chef who is open to comments and willing to please stopped by also. A wonderful TOTAL experience…

Very disappointed. This was our first visit to this establishment. We went for a late lunch/early dinner around 3pm on a Wednesday. When we arrive, there was one other couple there. Strode at the door for at least 10 minutes before anyone came to acknowledge our presence. Waitress was VERY friendly, gave us a run down about the restaurant and took our drink order. Took quite a while to get our drinks. We ordered an appetizer and a couple entrées. Again, seemed like it took forever for the appetizer to come out. When it did, it was cold. Not the temperature you want for a cheeseburger flatbread. Then our entrées came out, my husband ordered a panini and chicken pesto soup. What he got was a Romaine Chicken salad. The waitress was very apologetic and said she put it in wrong. When she finally brought out the correct order, she had tomato soup instead of the chicken pesto he ordered. As I stated, it was not busy, in fact at this point we were the only customers in the place. Staff was all very friendly, but service was terribly slow and not very efficient. Probably won’t be going back.

Eek! Methinks not is a wonderful way to put my experience of SIP Jazz and wine bar. My friend and I had heard only good things about the restaurant we decided to give it a chance. We walk in and we were greeted by the owner lounging on a couch asking us if it was still hot outside. If you own a company you should be up on your feet greeting your customers and saying Hello and Welcome. After we were seated, I noticed that as a vegetarian I would have a tough time finding something on the menu to eat. I asked for a cup of coffee and the waitress very nicely brewed a new pot She brought our food out as the same time as the coffee. It was unfortunate to find that the mugs had been dirty and my coffee had solid food particles present. The waitress argued with us that she had brewed a new pot. I was never worried about the age of the coffee. The dishes were dirty. After we had finished a very long and uncomfortable dining experience about 20 minutes later my friend and I became very ill.

SIP is AWESOME! Warm reception upon entering by the owners and the ambiance is wonderful. Old exposed brick walls, fabulous chandeliers, comfortable lounging sofas and, spaciousness add to the charm. Great service, mixed with music variety and fun people watching guarantee a GREAT time at this HIP, NEW Place in downtown Leesberg!

Not a jazz bar. No jazz here. Just your average central Florida solo act with backing track accompaniment. Really disappointed by that. On to the positive the atmosphere is nice and dim lit posh vibe. The wine was reasonably priced. I expect more of a wine selection at a place called a wine bar(but then again it says they have jazz).

Saturday evening at Sip. What a really cool atmosphere with exposed brick walls and funky artwork. We were a foursome and came for the jazz music… something a little difficult to find. We all ordered different paninis… Roast beef, meatball, teriyaki chicken and prosciutto. All were delicious, lightly toasted on the outside and warm and saucy inside. We also sampled the two soups. shrimp corn chowder and loaded potato. Wish we had gotten bowls instead of samples! The menu is limited but definitely enough variety and not a French fry in sight! It is a gem here in central Florida and we will be back!

Amazing sandwiches; very cool, modern décor; & reasonable prices. We were there for lunch, so I don’t know about the entertainment, but I would love to go back.

We had an amazing time here at the wine bar, I came up to move my daughter from here to Gainesville to change schools went out to find a glass of wine and a snack unknowing it was bike fest the place was mobbed I got seated right away the service was excellent get this I ordered the house cab and they gave me a 2013 Napa amazing I wish Miami would serve a Napa valley cab for a house wine, anyways I did the scallop ceviche tasted like it was just made great, then I did a roast beef Panini it was ok came out a little cold but seeing the mob of people I felt it was not a factor in my rating, if your anywhere Leesburg, this is definitely a place to stop

This«Jazz Wine Bar» has no bar! Very strange atmosphere. The wine list is lacking and the wait staff has no wine knowledge at all. The service was spotty. The food was quite mediocre. The music was great, but the«wine» and the«bar» — not so. Don’t waste your time.

Went here for Valentine’s Day and it was busy. We had a reservation and were seated quickly near the music, which was just a bit too loud, so we had to shout a little to hear each other across the table. Toward the back of the restaurant the volume was probably just right. Our orders were taken quickly and the service was friendly. Nice house wines. We had one of the flatbreads as an appetizer, which was ok, but not amazing. My fiancé liked his salmon(one of the specials that night) and there was a large portion. I had the caprese salad. The tomatoes were large slices and fresh. The mozzarella slices were generous. The ambiance was nice other than a bit too loud. The musician was ok– played the sax, jazz flute, and sang oldies. Overall a nice date night and a needed addition to the lacking leesburg downtown scene. We will be back.

My mom took me here for some BDAY drinks and I have to say that I had a blast!!! They have live music and the atmosphere is fantastic — the people were so very nice and energetic. Try their house Pinot noir! Delish.

Food was good and will presented. Service was quite good considering the crowd. My only complaint was the volume of the music. The group was really good but painfully loud. This in turn made all conversation loud.
