My family of 5 have been with Dr. Buro for over 10 years. They are very kid friendly and have ALWAYS made our family feel comfortable and most importantly, informed with our dental needs. What I love the MOST about Dr. Buro and his staff is their preparedness in letting us know how much our bill is going to be.(Given extensive dental work needed by two of our family members) Dr. Buro and his staff is personable, FUNNY, and truly care about providing their patients with a comfortable and technology savvy dental experience. BTW… their Kid basket has awesome gifts to choose from. Considering that everyone has their OWN different set of dental issues, Dr. Buro and his staff have been truly honest with our families dental needs.

Dr. Buro is awesome! I started seeing him when he worked in Washington, D. C and I only stopped when he moved to Leesburg because of the commute. My new dentist was fine enough but after several years, I decided it’s worth the trip out and back to have his expertise. He is a true artist and you would be hard pressed to tell your real tooth from the crowns he does! I just had my first implant done with him and I was surprised at just how painless it was. He goes to great lengths to explain the situation and, in my case, offered several different options from which to choose. He didn’t make Washingtonian’s 50 Best list for nothing!

Oh hell no! RUN!!! I wonder if the young Indian girl in there was licensed. They started out saying I had 3 cavities then they moved it up to 5 cavities. I spent 2 ½ hours there for two fillings. The kept bringing up the fact I was 10 minutes late to my first appointment. I didn’t get enough pain numbing medication because the dentist didn’t let it sit long enough. I came expecting to see Ronald Burro instead I got some young girl who caught my tooth with the back of the needle equipment. On top of that, you need to communicate when you are getting ready to polk someone with a needle for a shot. To make matter worse, they numbed my entire mouth, did two filling and when they found out the insurance wasn’t going to pay for the entire filling the stopped doing the other 3 fillings. I have a quote for over $ 10,000 for two bridges. Wow! I don’t think so, and it cost me $ 111.00 for 2 fillings when my insurance covers it at 80%. Let me get on how the front desk tried to charge me $ 160 I said it was high and she corrected it. The young girl dentist is confused about which teeth to notate. I hope Dr. Ron enjoyed his vacation to NY btw… you shouldn’t have to pop in and tell me I’m in good hand. I’ll be the judge of that, and when you train your intern, you might want to give her direction a little more quietly. Yall need to get it together. I could go on about my experience but I think everyone gets the point.

BEWARE — go to Dr. Buro at your own risk! If I could give him a –5, I would. I basically lost a tooth because of him, and it was painful and expensive, to add insult to injury. I went to him for a routine cleaning, and he insisted that I had a cavity. He proceeded to drill out my entire tooth(it was a small cavity, if it was even a cavity at all — in hindsight, I really wondered.) It caused me a lot of ongoing pain, and in the end I had to go to another dentist two times to get the cavity removed, soothing stuff put in temporarily, and then redone. Doctors don’t usually say bad things about other doctors, no matter how bad, but the 2nd dentist couldn’t hide it — he was shocked at the hatchet job on my tooth. Not too long after that, I had to get a complete root canal on that tooth — my first and only root canal ever. I had never had any problems before Dr. Buro. I have little doubt that there was serious malpractice. I chose not to get into any of that, but the least I can do is warn others. In fairness, this was many years ago, before Unilocal, but I just checked my current dentist’s ratings and wanted to make sure others had a heads up.
